Ebay has knack on ps4 for 39.98..personally im waiting till the price drops as the game didn't get great reviews but a lotta ppl are using their target 30% off coupons on this game and might want this game to play with their kids on ps4, so this way you could just save your coupon for something else or not pay the full 60 bucks for it.. seems like the seller has good ratings as well.

I always find it silly when people incorporate "trophies" into their review of a game, but I don't go around saying their opinion is invalid. I don't need to spend an entire playthrough to see that, graphically, Knack is about on par with PS2 games. Some might not think that's important, but I do. To each his own, eh?
On par with ps2? Get real.

Of course I exaggerated a little, but the visuals do leave quite a bit to be desired. It certainly does not look next-genish. The art direction is especially drab. I don't know...the whole thing just reeked of an uninspired rush job.

And it's funny this stellar inertia individual has a stake in an argument of a "game they've never played". Same person that always rags on Call of Duty, yet apparently doesn't play any of those. Double standard much? Anyway, I'm done arguing over this. Wasn't trying to rain on the parade. I will say, though, that if you're looking for an imaginative and polished Sony platformer, give Puppeteer a go. Excellent game and easily outranks Knack. That, we can all probably agree on. :bouncy:

^I played COD before it was a yearly released game that changed very little. So after WaW I stayed away for the most part especially since the game with DLC now cost near $100. And if I "always" rag on it then I must be unaware of it. Didn't know making fun of the game jokingly once or twice was always. Regardless I don't bash the game and tell everyone to stay away from it. What people like is up to them. Don't try to sway their judgment because of what you heard or played for 10 minutes. And I'm done replying to this feud. I know you love to drag out arguments. Let the people buying the game choose if its worth it to them or not.

I think others have pegged this correctly as the first retail game for PS4 that ends up on PS+. It looks fun but it's going to go one of two ways. It's either going to fizzle out and get a spiritual successor or something loosely based on it years down the road, or it's going to get the sequel-to-the-death treatment until the IP is worn out i.e. Crash Bandicoot, Ratchet & Clank, etc.

I really do believe it will eventually be the first PS4 full retail release to be free on PS+. Probably this time next year or later though not anytime soon.

This game makes me rage so hard with cheap shots... Not worth the $10 I paid.

Besides combat, everything else is pretty well polished. This is clearly a tech demo to show off particle effects.

LOL, yes, because WaW is certainly like the most recent CODs! And, no, it isn't just once or twice that you've made snide remarks about COD. It's constant, and it's annoying. The hypocrisy is astounding. Anyway, the point is that as erroneous as your opinion may be, you are entitled to it. I don't go around saying you can't think for yourself as you often do whenever people discuss review scores.

But the question here is how Cerny, THE LEGENDARY fucking PLATFORMING GURU DESIGNER shat out this mediocrity? Did you hear him sang the praises to the game prior to the release? It was like he was sure it'll get 10s accross the board, LOL. (and after the release Yoshida said he was hoping the game will at least get a 7/10 average)

P.S. Yeah, seems like the seller has increased the price (and 2 days ago at that!), seems to be in high demand!!! :cold:

I seriously loved this game. Regret having to sell it before I could do video a walk-through but best buys 100 percent ended that day.

I admit it is hard to keep a game when BBY offers $44 for it and your done with it. Especially since thats what the next gen games costed if you got in on a B2G1 or similar deal.

The game is gorgeous.
Sharp 1080p, hi res textures, and some sweet global illumination that makes the lighting very natural. At times it's stunning.

I've enjoyed this game immensely and have put more than 15 hours into it so far. Reviews scared me at first but I played it anyway.
Hard is frustrating with how difficult the game is but it's so much better than the cakewalk Easy and Normal are.

If you have kids, co-op works well.
Most user impressions of the game are pretty positive, it's popular among streamers.

It's my favorite PS4 launch title. Not that there's much to choose from.

Sorry if my post was a mess. It's pretty late but I just wanted to voice my opinion of this "bad" game.

I finally opened the game and played it last night. I got to the fourth chapter. I enjoyed it. The game has been fun. It's definitely challenging. My first impressions, when I played the demo was that the combat was too simple, but playing the final game, I like the combat being simple because when you attack it takes timing. Good balance of feeling powerful, but being vulnerable at the same time. It's a good game, I'm glad a bought it.
