Knights in the Nightmare (Sting) - BREAKOUT!
I mean, I don't really wanna give my delivery confirmation number out or anything to prove it. It says it's going to arrive on the 5th though. One thing to note is that I pre-ordered it when I had Amazon Prime's 2 Day shipping.
post 2 up from mine will do : ) i did not want to you to give our your DC number o anything like that just a something like what they posted was something i would like to saw ... they also bumped my shipping from 2 day to 1 day.

What is TOTAL BS is when i called tuesday i was told the same thing... My ship date was

JUNE 3 with a delivery of JUNE 5 since i preorder early.....

Called them around 6am today est time and are you #$#$#$# ready for this

that june 6 date will probally change friday to 2 to 3 weeks..

#$#$#$$# amazon

about the backorder thing.... i do not belive it cause they ran out of stock on another game few years back and they got them from a 2nd person to cover anyone with prime ....

Update.. just checked my status and it shows shipping soon....thought it says NOT IN STOCK TILL JUNE 6

PEOPLE WITH PRIME JUST KEEP CALLING AND COMPLAINING UNTIL THEY FIND YOU A COPY OR GIVE A DISCOUNT

if i dont get the extras then total bs is going to hit the fan big time

Update--------

Mine shipped yesterday, but it's currently traveling in the opposite direction from where I am. Hopefully Dallas is where UPS puts packages on a plane, otherwise it'll be tough getting to Ohio by tomorrow.

Dont'cha love that? They sent something of mine from Phoenix to Kentucky before sending here to Colorado, recently... I just can't see logic there, but then what do I know ;)

Mine now says expected to arrive June 9th, I got an email...

I'm tempted to email again, to see if they'd give me a discount or something. They obviously do not have enough of these to meet demand... I just wonder if Amazon or Atlus is to blame for that?

Considering the in-stock date went to the 5th a few days ago, I have a feeling Amazon was short-shipped. Clearly they got some copies in since many have shipped, but apparently not enough. Let's just pretend that means the game will sell like hotcakes due to the Nintendo Channel demo, which I never got around to downloading.

Slidecage, calm down dude, you're going to get your game.

I just picked up my copy of the game & artbook from work and the artbook is absolutely amazing. About 100 pages and very high quality. The artwork for this game is what really pulled me in.

Good ol' Campbellsville... I used to go to college there

Mine's shipped too... hooray! And should arrive tomorrow, thanks to the shipping upgrade they gave me when I contacted them... I adore Amazon's CS, no matter what anyone says :p

got mine today BUT front of art book was damaged since they put the game with artbook together in one paper shipping thing.. One of the sticker things came undone and got stuck to the artbook... They said they will try to send me a replacement
ITT: Slidecage making his own bad luck.
lol first i thought someone took the game out cause the cardboard box itself was opened (that is how the sticker thing got caught on the book and ripped a little of the black off the front of the cover) the cardboard box itself was opened.
of all of the games i got off amazon, gamestop, ect i never seen a cardboard box opened and really thought someone took the game out of the box and just left an empty cardboard outer shell)

well went over to sears to see if they had any markdowns and found nothing i wanted...

walked over to gamestop and picked up dungeon maker 2 for the psp for 15.00 after tax and 20% off coupon...... I told them how i ordered the game off amazon and how the book was damaged.... I then asked them what was the odds of getting a new book if i picked up another copy of the game (just making small talk)

well the first worker goes .... we never got any of the books so even if you got it here you wouldnt of got the books since we did not get any... The manager must heard us talking about it cause they come walking over and go .... we got a few books in but we did not get any preorders... Manager then opens up the door and goes

Here if you want one you can have it for free .......

That was so freaking cool : )

i would of been happy if amazon goes.. Okay its our fault the book got damage cause of the crappy way we sent it. Heres a 5 buck code for your next item.... Instead this is what is going to happen

They are going to send me out a replacement (everything----game soundtrack and hopefully book)

the worker is then going to call me tuesday to see if i got the items ..
the worker is then going to send me a RETURN SLIP to return the game and soundtrack and i guess damaged book.

Talk about a lot of work instead of just giving me a 5 buck discount or even sorry we will make sure this does not happen again thing.

seems amazon just loves Mailing stuff out : )

got done just calling amazon and told them about what happen and they said they will see what they can do to stop the 2nd order from going out (cause i really dont want to mess with the major hassle of returning all of that crap and then what happens if they go they never got the stuff back)

one hand im VERY VERY HAPPY i got the game and can not wait to rip into the game
On the other hand I think im going to take a nap for around 3 or 4 hours before doing it before i pass out LOL only got 2 hours of sleep last night

Stay up all last night playing

Crimson Gem Saga psp

now there is one hell of a fun Game

That's how they shipped mine, too, but I didn't have any stickers come off. Still, I don't see the point in offering a really nice book as a preorder bonus only to ship it so carelessly - the envelope wasn't even a bubble mailer. My book and game look pretty beat up.

Mine came today, art book also beat up... the book is all bent up and wonky and the edges of the cover are worn. Mine came in a box, but was in an envelope inside the box... I assume Atlus sent them to Amazon that way. So now I'm not sure what to do... complain or just live with it. It's not horrible, but I would only consider it "Good", if I were listing it on half.com, say. I sort of expected something "brand new" :p

So people have already received their Amazon orders? Mine isn't getting here until 6/12 or so. What do CAGs think about this game so far?

since the game is so different i think im going to wait probally till monday to open up my copy and try to finish up

Crimson Gem Saga for the psp before ripping this open..... maybe sunday night but i would love to get the gem game finished before trying to tackle another rpg game

sad they sent the art books this way.... This is the first time i ever had an art book damage..my L.arc2 books came perfect ..... just a poor way to ship them

wonder why amazon just did not take so much cash off my order instead of doing what they did.... that had to cost them a pretty penny.

overnight shipping (8 or 9 bucks) then a return prepaid sticker probaly anotehr 3 to 4 bucks... and i wonder what they will say to send back... hell who knows they might just say keep everything for the hassle. will report back tuesday (they will call my house tuesday to tell me what to do ) item comes monday but the boss is off monday and said they will call tuesday to see what our next steps are)

My artbook was slightly damaged when I got it yesterday. Not really that big of a deal to me, but somehow my amazon package managed to gobble up someone's Walmart photos in the space between the cardboard. It was supposed to go to WA, so not sure what to do...
Enough about the condition of the artbook, post some impressions of the game, please!
My artbook got here in pretty good shape.

Game is fun, hopefully it stays that was as the complexity ramps up. The first couple levels have little in the way of bullets to avoid, so it's just a matter of picking the right weapons to kill everyone as efficiently as possible. I'm not yet sure if there's strategy involved in ending the levels quickly, or if it just depends on the enemies you draw each turn (a turn is made up of as many attacks as you can complete during 60 seconds of actions - you use up time by either getting hit with bullets, or by charging up attacks).

I've revived two knights using their key items so far, and have a ton of exp that I'm able to distribute, but I'm going to hang on to a lot of it until I see what levels new recruits appear as, relative to enemy levels.

Definitely go through the First Steps at the minimum, and probably check out a few tutorials for things not covered in the former. I can try to answer any questions someone might have based on my early play.

got my 2nd shipment today and the book was 100% perfect ( alot better then the first one they sent) amazon is going to call me tomorrow and see where we go from here)

They said they would have to talk to their boss about either allowing me to keep everyting or making me send back the first package... either way im happy with the new book

(this time everything was in the white envlope but it was plastic wrapped to a piece of card board) the first one wasnt it was just looses

my copy came today from amazon and i gotta say the artbook looks great and its a pretty thick book too (92 pages) compared to luminous arc,and poison pink. p4 had around the same amount of pages. i really like how all the characters are drawn. I want to immediately dig into this game but im still grinding through super robot og.

I assume amazon sent you a complete package as a replacement. Then you are supposed to print out a return label (they usually include a link in an email for you to do that) to return the first package. Usually they would include a clause in the email that says if they don't receive the package back within 30 days, they would charge you for the replacement.

Did they not send you a link to print your own return label? You better find out or you may be in for a surprise a month later.

they are going to send me a prepaid label to send it back.. They told me to keep the artbook with the damage cover and just send the game back.... Might try to toss up the Damaged art book up on ebay and try to get some money knocked off the game...

I think i will even try to sell the game... I just dont care for it... (only paid 27 bucks for it)

they also issued me a 5 buck credit for the hassle of having to send the first package back....

so i got a damaged art book + a mint art book + the game + 5 bucks for 27

Spent most of my free time this afternoon going through the 40 step tutorial...

I had enough time to play the first level at least. Seems like a lot of fun and a interesting twist on a SRPG. I'm not expecting Touhou-level bullet dodging but I'll like to see how complex the patterns become.

The game also came with this gigantic artbook and cd. I wasn't expecting it to be so teh huge. I know some artbooks have spoilers in them so I'll wait a while before looking in it. The music is better then I expected.

one thing i did not like about it was you had to figure out what item to break to get items to recute knights.. items are very easy missed and then you have to go though each item to see if any of the knightts will accept it..

The map does get too cluttered sometimes and make it hard to see what your doing. Maybe the maps will get bigger as I play more.

Generally the goal is to break all the items, if you can, which I've done pretty lousy at. Beyond that, the items say which character needs it in the list, no need for guesswork there.

So no one else is playing this? Just finished my Easy playthrough (bad ending) at around 19 hours. Fun gameplay that I barely broke the surface on, pretty intriguing story, particularly the way it was presented. By far my favorite Sting game - highly recommended!

I'm slowly making my way through it. I think I'm on Scene 14 or 15 on Normal, though I'm sort of 'grinding' when I find my levels aren't up to snuff. It's so fun even to just playing the 'Leveling' levels.

It's also interesting how the game does bullet hell, which is kind of different from the top-down boss-oriented shooters. It's refreshing.

I just ordered the game from Amazon on Friday when ECA came back.

Amazon delivered it on Monday (Prime) and it did contain the artbook.

In case anyone was bumming about not getting the book, looks like Amazon still has some.
