Yep, King of Fighters: Maximum Impact for PS2 with the Bonus DVD, marked as $30-50, is only $9.99 at Meijer (aka Fred Meijer, apparently). I also saw Lifeline or whatever (the PS2 game that uses the microphone) for the same price there.

Super-cheapasses might want to wait for the next potential BOGO 50% off sale... I personally couldn't wait.

I figured for my hundredth post, I would actually try to give something back to the awesome CAG community.

Well, I just sold my two copies of KOF MI I got at meijer plus 007: Nightfire, and DOA 2 Hardcore for *$78* total credit at Blockbuster.

woo.
so can anyone answer my post at all? I only wanna pick this up if it's around $10
Probably not... I'd say look to paying at least $15 alone, plus shipping. Maybe C can help you out if nobody claims his extra copies.

At Blockbuster or GameRush?

Did you trade in KOF:MI with the extra part of the packaging, or just the game itself? And did you trade it in this week and was the $25 including the extra $5 from trading in 3 or more games?

I traded in the games yesterday at a Gamerush Blockbuster still sealed in the shrink wrap. I traded in 4 games total to get the +$5 bonus. Now I'm going to use the credit to buy a lot of $7 games with B2G1 free and sell them with +$5 bonus each to get more BB credit without any further cash outlay.

Just a little FYI for people in the Brighton, MI. I went to the store to pick up some of the games and when they rang up as 9.99 the lady would not sell them to me. She told me something was wrong and that she would have to charge 29.99 and I told her forget that. I asked her just to sell me the games at 9.99 and she refused, I bitched for a while to her, but she just blew me off. Its not like she is personally losing money if the store marks something wrong. I really wanted to tell that b!tch to F-off, but instead I will complain to the DM.

Darn, I'm actually heading to Brighton this weekend (hot spot that it is) and I was going to hit the Meijer there. Thanks for the warning.

Pick up request ;), if someone can pick this up. We dont have these stores here :( or anywhere close. Id compensate for your time too ;) or be willing to trade if anyone has an extra PM please

I went to the Cold Spring and Florence Kentucky stores yesterday. Florence was a no-go, but Cold Spring had 2 copies. Just thought I'd let everybody know that those 2 are empty.

More bullcrap from Meijer. I went to the Meijer in Ypsilanti, MI (I live in Ann Arbor and wanted to search all the ones near me). They had one copy left and it was even marked at $9.99, and the guy refused to sell it to me. The manager of the store also told me that it was an error and there was nothing he could do for me. I think this is BS, when I go to other stores and they price it wrong, they have to honor the mistake. Do you think I should call there corporate headquaters to complain?

I just came back from meijers in Lincoln Park and was about to get KOF. It rang up for $31 something but the cashier price adjusted it for me to $10. The cashier had to look it up on a computer to see that it was $10. But they had to mark the bar code when they price adjusted. Just in case some of you guys want to keep the bar code just a heads up.
Marked $38 at the Meijer I went to and rang up as $29. Boo.
Gah! I'm sorry! I'll change the thread to include YMMV!! Very sorry... Which Meijer did you go to?

Not a problem. I thought it was YMMV in the first place. It was the Indy Meijer on 38th Street. There's still a couple Meijers in the area. I'll try them if I happen to drive by.

Just let you know, if you do the flipping for a few times, you will have a pretty high possibility to be banned by BB. Lots of people banned by BB lately. I will not try that if I were you. GR has lots of deals

The Greenwood one doesn't have it...

Though I did pick up Lifeline for $9.99.

Ah, Duo's an Indy CAG. I didn't know that. The Southport Meijer didn't have the game in stock. I'll be going to Castleton tomorrow so I'll check the one on 96th and possibly the one in Carmel.

Any other good clearances at the Greenwood Meijer? I haven't been there.

Nah, not that I noticed, there was one other copy of Lifeline and some other $10 games like Onimusha 2, but no really good deals unfortunately.
The Brighton, MI had three copies of this game. They were marked at $29.99 and scanned at $29.99.
Maybe this is only good in Illinois?

I think it may have been a limited time sale. I got one for $9.99 last week. I went again today to the same Meijer to pick up another one, and it rang up $29.99 even though it was price tagged at $9.99. So that leads me to think the sale is over. Unless someone can report $9.99 this week.

damnit!!!!

i was going try this tonight...a brand new meijers just opened down the street from me :whistle2:(

......gonna try anyway :p

Did they at least adjust it down for you? Most stores would adjust it to the marked price.

I think if I asked, they would've. But that one was not sealed, may have been a returned one (which is why I didn't pick it up the first time). So I just left. Btw, it is just my speculation that the $9.99 sale is over. I would be happy to hear if anyone tells me otherwise. There's couple more Meijers I would like to check out if it is still going on.
