I meant dragons lair 3 because the box says dragons lair trilogy (trilogy means 3 dont forget) with dragons lair 3d being the 3rd entry in the series but it only has 2 dragons lair games in it. Yes I know it looks different but its still the 3rd entry much like duke nukem 3d is the 3rd entry in the duke nukem series despite not saying 3.
Saying timewarp was a typo. But yes, as I already said there are 3 dragons lair games. More technically if you want to get into the sidescrolling versions of dragons lair.
And space ace is not considered a dragons lair game by anyone. Space ace is its own game. Just because it looks simillar, if that were the case then everything would just be another game instead of what it actually is.
I dont know why I bother posting anything on here, all anyone wants to do is look for tiniest excuse to either A) Be sarcastic for no reason or B) Look for any fault they can possible exploit so they can show the other person how right they are. Im just gonna stick to bumping my trade forum thread and not bother replying to peoples threads anymore.
I'm sorry you took my response the wrong way, but you clearly don't know what you are talking about.
There were only two Dragon's Lair arcade games. The first one and Time Warp, animated by Don Bluth. Before game systems could adequately show full motion video, there were Dragon's Lair side scrollers that basically retold what happened in the original laser disk game with sprite graphics.
Dragon's Lair 3D is a retelling of the original game, this time with cel-shaded 3D graphics instead of a side-scroller. Officially it isn't cannon to the Dragon's Lair story. Digital Leisure translated Dragon's Lair 3D footage to the DVD format, and since the DVD isn't as interactive as a game system, it was given traditional "Dragon's Lair" style gameplay. This game wouldn't fit at all with this trilogy because it wasn't originally an arcade game or have hand drawn animated visuals like Dragon's Lair 1 & 2, and Space Ace have.
As far as Space Ace goes, it is definitely known as a "Dragon's Lair" style game (if you like that terminology better). Space Ace is the followup to Dragon's Lair animated by Don Bluth, and when people see it, most people are going to naturally associate it with Dragon's Lair. This isn't the first time Space Ace has been bundled with the two Dragon's Lair, it had been previously been bundled as a PC edition (Dragon's Lair Deluxe Pack) and a DVD bundle (Dragon's Lair 20th Anniversary Special Edition).
You are probably right, you should interact in these fourms if you can't take some criticism. What you stated before showed me that you were clearly misinformed about the Dragon's Lair series, and I was just trying to set you straight. But don't worry, your response is typical of people who thought they were correct.
I suggest you check out Wikipedia and the various Dragon's Lair sites on the web to educate yourself better.....
