Of course FF 3 is going to look jaggy, it runs on extremely dated technology. It can't help how it looks, just gotta accept it and play it.

I won't accept Zelda looking like shit because there ARE ways to make it look alot better but Nintendo decided to be retards about it.

You think they'd at least re-release the cables through their online store just for Zelda.

gears of war with component cables on my 32" LCD TV and on my 59" HDTV in 1080p = :drool:

Playing Gears of War at my friends house on his 27" extra regular ass TV = not as good, but not a big enough difference to rant on for 3 pages in an OTT.

Does anyone know the trick to pulling up old cache pages of EB / GS inventory? Botticus usually does it for me but he's not online, wondering if EB / GS ever had a page for the component cables.

I played a ton of 360 games on my friend's 20" tv with composite and they all looked like shitty PS2 games. We didn't play Gears, but everything else was a huge step down.

Some games I couldn't even read the damn text.

From my understanding GC component cables are classified as generic GC cables which is why you can't find them on the website.

I either play on a regular TV using composite or my monitor through VGA and it doesn't look all that bad on a regular TV. As long as you make sure to go into the TV and tune the settings, it can actually look really good. Not better than on the monitor, but not enough for me to feel like it is ruining the experience.

The TV I am playing on is either 32 or 36 inches though.

Went to TRU early this morning and nabbed a FFIII (DS). Landing a decent bargain is always a bit of a rush. I think that's why I love to go to yard sales. Every so often you find a mint condition Paper Mario (N64) in box for $5 or a Saturn with a bunch of games for $5. (I could hear my blood pumping in my ears when the guy told me the price on that one.)

Um... why did someone make another OTT?

I got both FF 3 and FF 12 with no problem, only because an old friend of mine still works at TRU in the R-Zone, I thought he left a loooooooooooong time ago. I guess things worked out ok for me today.

I also got the free case with FF 3!

And Talladega Nights!
