Laptop recommendations?

CAGiversary!
I'm thinking about getting a laptop so I can take games on the road with me. Is there any particular notebook graphic cards that would be better for gaming? I'm not dreaming of playing the new games but some COD2 would be nice.

Any recommendations?

Call of Duty 2?

Well the system requirements for Call of Duty 2 are...

Call of Duty 2
Publisher: Activision
Developer: Infinity Ward

Minimum System Requirements
OS: Windows 2000/XP
Processor: 1.4 GHz
Memory: 256 MB
Hard Drive: 4 GB Free
Video Memory: 64 MB
Sound Card: DirectX 9.0 Compatible
Direct X: 9.0c
Keyboard & Mouse
CD/DVD Rom Drive

which will run in any fairly recent laptop, you have to drop a budget for us to help...

Okay...I'm thinking around $800-$1k. Maybe if I knew which notebook graphics card was best for gaming it would help me. I know my specs but it's the processor & graphics for notebooks that I'm unsure about. As desktops are clearly tested on many websites, I cannot seem to find a website that tests lower end laptops for games. Even the reviews for the "Gamer Laptops" are sparse and those machines are at least $2k+.

Thanks.
