Along with the online play title update, there are some DLC challenge maps available for the next month for free:

Is it only free for a month? =/ I was under the assumption it would be a permanent free DLC because it was something they planned for release but it got pushed back.

It's only free for a month. It's sort of an apology. Everyone who has the game or waited on the game to have co-op can get it within the next month. Anyone who buys it after that doesn't need compensation for waiting, because it didn't effect them.

I got the DLC so now I just to get the game eventually.

It was planned to be free anyway, they're just dressing it up as an apology.

There's not even any achievements or in-game unlocks such as weapons. A bit pointless really.

from joystiq you can just google it its not hard to see that this is an apology dlc.
