Latest ITunes download may brick your IPod
Really?

That's the equivalent of posting a "WorldNetDaily" link in the vs forum and treating it as fact.

You just trollin' now, boy.
You accusing me of trolling? That's rich. You're the one who goes around calling people "boy" - the real patronizing Myke coming out of his liberal persona methinks.

What source quoted don't you agree with

www.businessweek.com
www.cnet.com
www.macworld.com

Protip: when you're reading the article I referenced above, the quotes in blue are these things called "hyperlinks" that magically link to the article sources. Check it out yourself, and remember, knowing is half the battle!

From the same article:

"A few words of warning before we get into the results: this was not a scientific survey. Apple is believed to have sold about 400,000 iPhone 3Gs in the U.S. as of the first week it was on sale, and has certainly added to that total since. We received input from 334 people over the last four days, both in comments on our site and in e-mail, 312 of whom were iPhone 3G owners and the rest of whom were AT&T customers with other phones."

So it's a fucking blog post. Might as well be written by Jerome Corsi. Or perhaps someone equally uninformed, but without the hitman motif.
In the meantime, I continue to live with Microsoft's hunk-of-shit Office 2008
Wow, have you traveled into the future or are you a part of Microsoft's TAP program?

Back on topic, any software update has the potential to wreak havoc on any system. Where is all the righteous indignation when Microsoft, Sony, or Nintendo release updates which brick their consoles?

As is always the case with the internet, the vocal minority are the ones that are heard. The millions of iPod users who weren't affected aren't posting articles about how smoothly the latest iTunes upgrade was.

this thread is ridiculous. i get the itunes issues. but to say the ipods themselves are pieces of shit, is retarded. there are players that do things better, and thats of course objective, but its its not like comparing an 89 hyundai excel to an 08 mini.
and yea this is a buncha kids who think theyre edge trying to tell us squares why theyre the shit.
