Lawyers are scums

It sounds like your family moved here to sue people. Failing to include the original incident that started their never-ending cycle of litigation makes me think it was an even weaker case than your dad's "sprinkled" ankle. Greedy lawyers will always take advantage of greedy potential clients.

It was an immigration case for my aunt, mom's sister that's been pending for years.

Trust me when I say that my follks are extremely forgiving and that they would never go through so much trouble to *sue* ppl for mere reasons such as monetary compensation.

Mom broke her ankle at lawyer 1's office because of an awkwardly placed step by the entrance, which was then removed after the incident.

Dad sprained his ankle on the stairs because his former boss asked him to carry some boxes from downstairs (which btw, was not part of his job) during normal working hours. The boss expressed no remorse, nor offered to pay for his medical expenses. Few months later, he left the place on bad terms with them, and that is when we decided to sue.

Happy?

Do you also wanna know how much we paid for each and everyone of them? Isn't it funny how some of you criticized me for generalizing all lawyers when you have already generalized the 4 lawyers in my post as if they provided free services, despite the fact that I have only mentioned the rate for one of them?

You think my post has intention of generalizing all lawyers which is not justfied. Well, how is your assumption of my family's cheapness and sue-happy mentality any more justifiable?

Lawyers work to make money, most often they do not work for free (unless they are doing some pro bono work). It is assumed that they will not work for free. Some will do some free work, but when I get out of law school I plan to get paid. However, it did seem as if lawyer that you quoted the price from was on the very low end of the spectrum price wise.

I understand his situation. When i came to this country, i also had to go through some lawyers for my immigration case. The price he quoted is actually as high as it can go for this type of easy cases. But let's assume those who he hired were low-end pricewise lawyers, it still doesn't give them the right to toy with and bail out on their clients. Nor should these clients deserve to be screwed over like this.

my god if you dont give a shit about a loser on a game site complaining then why the f**k do you take him calling all lawyers scumbag so personally? Aren't you being a hypocrite? And the irony in all this iis that you're so damn rich yet you're a member of a site for cheap ass gamers? You should be able to afford multiple copies of a single game.[/QUOTE]

Who the fuck are you? Some douchebag n00b who signed up today, just to respond to this? Go away....

To answer your question, regardless as to whether or not my affluence is your business, i have plenty of money to afford any game i want, and as many as i want. Doing so makes no economical sence whatsoever. I'd have to be an idiot to not want to save money....
