Oh, I missed the free samples part. I thought it was just a place to buy glitter.

There's some old meme about throwing glitter at a gamestop manager or something.
 
Im guessing he ment after knocking down the magazine rack you would celebrate by throwing glitter into the air. Atleast thats what i would do.
 
It's an inside joke that nobody ever repeats for some reason. I've been here since 2006 and never figured it out myself. Has something to do with someone knocking over a magazine rack at EB and glitterizing (not a word) it.

Looking back at that thread and someone linked to the magazine rack story as well. Good ole DennisDFat:
I knocked over the magazine rack at EBgames today
So I go into Eb games today, looking for some great stuff. And they have out on the shelf the stupid little boxes they have for GBC abd GBA games and I find one that really tickles my fancy. Dragon Warrior 3,m to be exact. and at a pleasant price, too. So i take it up to the counter, and attempt to purchase it. That's when the guy tries to tell me that they don't have the cartridge for the game.. Also, they had told me that they did not have a player's choice title I was looking for new, and tried to sell me a used one for $3 more. So this was it. I just say "Screw it," and kick the magazine rack aff the side of the counter and storm out of the store, nearly removing the door from its hinges, while they yell at me to come back and pick up the magazines.

If you have been apart of CAG for over 3 years you know the reference which is funny as hell.

The only thing is this would be hard to do now because most stores don't have the magazine racks anymore.

That's because an angry DDF went on a cross country magazine rack destruction spree shortly after getting banned from this site. :lol:

Maybe years from now we will refer to Leeks thumb sucking spree after he gets banned. Only time will tell....

I guess someone's been busy! I predict that in the near future, a large amount of EB/GS managers across the country will be forced to *attempt* to clean glitter from their store's carpet floors.
