Left 4 Dead (PC) $36.99 on Amazon.com

It'd be nice if you changed the thread title to reflect the fact that the price is only for the PC version. I was all excited until I found out the 360 version isn't part of the deal. I should've known better, but still...
 
One thing to note - most people think this is going to be a 39.99 game and not a 49.99 game on the PC. So the savings here may be more like $3 rather than $13. Still, it's one I'm looking forward to and I ordered 2 copies.
 
Yeah I'm going to hold out because I think it will be 39.99 retail and Steam might do a pre-order deal where you get about the same thing off so might as well wait.

The price isn't confirmed; it could go for either $39.99 or $49.99. Also Amazon does not charge your credit card until they're about to ship the game. That mean you can preorder it now, and if you find it's the same price on Steam, you can just cancel your order on Amazon with no hassle. Seems like a good deal to me to make sure you don't pay more than $36.99 for this game.
