are you serious, the game is only 4 hours long?
Not true, unless you play on easy.

Oh, and the 4 levels is true, but there are multiple parts of each level.

But saying the game has 4 levels and 4 hours of gameplay misses the entire point of the game.

It's a good buy for $50.

this game is only fun if you play Online.

for all that you have described it is still 40. uncharted is an awesome game but it needed to be 30 for me to buy it. ill wait like i did with uncharted

The multiplayer is two levels out of the four. Of those levels, you can only spawn every 20 seconds or so and the servers are very laggy.

I could only do co-op missions so many times before it became repetitive in a week.

I don't think you know what you're talking about.

All four scenarios (what ppl here are calling "levels", but I'd say that each of the four scenarios consist of several levels) are playable in multiplayer. There's 2-player split-screen available on a single system (not recommended, frame rate gets choppy) and of course Live multiplayer (spots not filled by players are covered by AI bots).

All four scenarios are playable in co-op (4 players as the human survivors) or versus (8 players, alternates between 4 players as the human survivors & 4 as boss zombies)...when playing as the zombies, as they're incredibly powerful, there is a 20 second respawn time.

I've gotten a few disconnects while playing online, but never any lag. Valve is using DEDICATED SERVERS...most games on Xbox Live use P2P, which is more prone to lag.

There are only 4 scenarios, and while their architecture never changes, the enemy, item, and weapon placements do. I didn't think this would make much difference, but it does. Makes the levels infinitely playable.

Most definitely worth full price at $60...at $50, it's a no-brainer.

Pretty sure I do. Versus is only on No Mercy and Blood Harvest. See? Two. Two out of the four. ;] I did not count Co-op.

At 25, it's a no-brainer. Did Valve put you here to make these posts?

Putting weapons two feet where they used to be and swapping out a Hunter for a Smoker every other level isn't as intuitive as people think. There's only so many walls they can run through, and after you go through the entire game with friends on Expert, you know everything.

I have seen every weapon spawn, them come from every direction and three Tanks spawn all within a second of each other.

The game is cheap more than it is different.

Hah, okay I'll admit I didn't realize versus was only available in two levels; I thought it was available for all 4. Regardless, multiplayer co-op is the meat of the game, so saying "multiplayer is two levels out of the four" is not correct IMO.

I think the randomness is more pronounced than you claim, but I have not yet played through on Expert. I've played thru each scenario multiple times and am still pleasantly surprised.

I have no affiliation with Valve. I bought the game at full price and really like it...probably my fav game in a long time. Hopefully enough folks will purchase the game to justify them adding new content via DLC.

Yeah, it would be nice for those that purchased it. Maybe it'll be free, who knows.

The community is pretty solid, all in all. No one is really competitive or destructive. So that's a plus.
