This is such a niche issue.

I sincerely doubt any dude going into ladies rooms in CO is going to escape without a justified ass-whoopin.

I don't get the transgender thing but I sincerely doubt anyone's getting surgery on their hoo-haw so they can sneak-a-peek

I can't imagine that whoever suggested passing this law will find their political career intact next election.

Politicians really seem to be going the way of the Lemming these days.

I can see having coed bathrooms as an option, but to make it the ONLY option is just plain dumb.
I seriously can't believe this passed...

Stupid idea but I don't see what it has to do with cross dressers or any of the other garbage in that article. The article is even more pathetic than the story.

Maybe I misread but I thought only transgender ppl can use the opposite sex restrooms. I read "Focus on the Family" and my mind went  , because I basically support anything they oppose.

Seems like "separate, but equal" might be a better option in this case...

Anyways, I live in Colorado, but this is about individuals with gender identity disorder, and those in the process of changing sexes, isn't it? I actually heard about this from one of the life drawing sessions I moderate, and I didn't think he was referring to an actual bill. I'm surprised it passed too.

I'm crossing my fingers that there won't be any crimes, but I highly doubt it. At least women bathrooms have stalls, but I don't know what'll happen in locker rooms. How do you truly prove that you're homosexual, transgendered, or someone who associates with the opposite sex? Does this mean that those who do have these characteristics require some sort of ID?

Yeah, this is definitely worrisome, and I haven't heard the proposed start date for this.

(Maybe we can make separate bathrooms for those who identify themselves as the opposite gender :0 )
