Anyone else playing this? I don't know if I like it yet. For one the graphics look like it was made using RPG MAKER on PS2, I mean very very very generic looking sprites. Story doesn't seem like anything special and the battle system is very very much so Dragon Quest-sih.

I dont know the whole game has that feel like it was made using RPG MAKER....

LOL. I saw Legend of Heroes and Kingdom of Paradise while I was out shopping the other day, and this exact thought went through my head both times.
 
That would explain why it's sooooo "Old School". The game reminds me of something made in the early 90's. I've never heard of it before. What console was it released on?
 
I was excited for this, but it looks like a real piece of shit now. This was why I got my PSP :(.
Kingdom of Paradise doesn't looking to be faring any better.

Time to ditch my PSP :(.
 
I was waiting for Legends of Hero at first, but as soon as I saw the reviews and a few short clips I decided to skip it. I been waiting for a RPG and its pretty crazy not having a decent one at this point. Right now I am just waiting for Popolo Crosis December 6th. Its one of the top selling games in Japan so I am hoping its worth the wait. Hopefully Y's Ark of Naphistism finally comes out first quarter next year as well.


 
Hopefully Tales of Eternia will be released this week (was supposed to be released 11/11 but got knocked back 2 weeks). I know its just another PSX port, but still, its a really good RPG.
 
Its really not that great from what I have played. I was hoping for a good RPG but its just too straightforward. And from playing DQ before I left, I really dont want to invest the time in another RPG that is really mediocre.

But I didn't realize Tales of Eternia was coming out in a couple weeks. Thanks for the heads up Berzerker.

Actually, just read that it once again got delayed, this time to January 27th..
