So I have been thinking about buying these games for awhile now and I was wondering if anyone on here had tried them and could give me some info. While the game is all in japanese I was curious if that even matters since the titles are platformers and I'm not looking for Final Fantasy level epic storytelling. Will I have a problem getting into this game because of it? I have been watching youtube vids and it looks like a ton of fun. Do you have any recommendations as far as which games to get first? I had heard parts 3 & 4 were better then the 1st 2. Finally I am going to get it from play asia unless someone on here tells me there is a better site to go two or has one for trade.

Thanks!

I got Stafi 2 a few months ago and I was doing fine until I came across a stage where you need to jump across a large gap, it seems, and I have no idea how. I'm assuming the NPCs are giving me tips, but I can't read 'em. :[

Well I haven't played the second and am playing through Densetsu no Stafi 4 right now for whatever stupid reason I have to play it out of order. In that one it at least will show you how to perform various moves with signs using pictures of buttons.

I don't know if it has the same move set as 4, but the only thing I can think of is a dash-run with B and at the end jump with A and hold it to glide farther.

I ordered Densetsu no Stafi 4 for 14.90 plus $2.60 for shipping earlier today. They changed the price on their website to $48.90 not long after I placed the order. This is my first time ordering from Play Asia.
Damn Nintendo for not releasing it over here!

I'm sure there are a lot of people that would be willing to buy!
My exact thoughts on these games! Like the Kirby games this series is really fun and would probably do very well. Especially with younger kids but I'm not afraid to admit this is a very fun series that would be worth NOA's time to bring to the states. At this point I think a compilation cart with the first 3 would be a good idea...if that sells well bring 4 over.
