Chances are, I'll be seeing them live during SXSW.
Crystal Castles - Mother Knows Best

really? I'm not a particular fan of that track but as a group I dig them

Dragonette - Galore (album)

no fucking clue why I dig this shit....I would so kick my own ass if I caught myself listening to this in high school

March 18, I believe.

The Mae Shi - Heartbeeps (album)

Aguaturbia - Complete Tracks

(you'd probably like this strummerbs)

That's some damn good stuff. I'll have to buy that when it comes back in stock.

Brak and WooHoo - You should check out the KEXP Live Performances Podcast. They have two excellent sets by Silversun Pickups, in addition to a bunch of other great bands. Their Tullycraft performance was what introduced me to the band.

The Mendoza Line - Full of Light and Full of Fire
Bar the gargantuan picture, damn find choice Anderson. That right there is a front runner for album of the year for me. Can't wait for my vinyl.
Yeah, it's really, really fucking good. A huge step forward from their first album. I was wondering if it was being released on vinyl; I'll have to look into that.

Limited one is sold out, but I'm pretty sure Lovepump still has copies of the regular for pre-order. Only thing that sucks is that the vinyl comes out a full month after the CD.

And yea, they've been making a very nice progression since their first EP. It's gonna be interesting to see where they go from here.

Solar Anus - Electric Jellyfish
Fall of Efrafa - Elil (album)

Spectacular. Any fans of post rock or shit like newer Neurosis and Isis should check them out.
Will do.

The Appleseed Cast - Peregrine (album)

after I finish up what I'm listening to now

wow, A Sunny Day In Glasgow is one weird experimental band. Can't say I'm digging it or hating it but it does give off a nice angelic vibe
Will do.

The Appleseed Cast - Peregrine (album)
How is that Appleseed Cast? I've heard nothing but good things about the band, but I've never heard a note of their stuff. Is it worth checking out?
Talk Talk is probably the most underappreciated band of the 80's.
I love Talk Talk, but I'd give that 'most underappreciated' award to Felt for the 80s.

My vote would be for the Associates, though I love Talk Talk and Felt.

Phil Spector - Back to Mono

Moving Mountains (check their album Pneuma out, if you haven't; it was my album of the year for 2007) is often compared to them, although Moving Mountains is much, much better.

Talk Talk is pretty good. I think I'll listen to that album now myself...
talking heads- "don't worry about the government"
I know it's weird but that song used to make me tear up.

And ironically, it's pretty much the life I have now. :(

Won't you guys come over?
