Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (Wii) $9.99
Yes we have. OOT and ALTTP have aged terribly. No matter how much lipstick you put on a pig, it's still a pig. Thank heavens I can enjoy modern games without a pair of rose-tinted nostalgia goggles glued to my face!
TP is so underrated it's not even funny. I can't for the life of me understand WHY it's criticized. Oh yes, it's by far the largest, longest, most cinematic, and diverse Zelda in terms of locale and tempo, but does it have THAT ANNOYING ASS OWL AND FAIRY LIKE OOT? NO! Condemn it... XD Best Zeldas 1. Wind Waker 2. TP 3. OoT 4. LTtP 5. MM

Whoever thinks these are factory wrapped doesn't know what factory wrapped means. Mine was professionally sealed with the folds, but there was a "used-like new" sticker on the back of the case underneath the plastic wrap, and the manual and disc have definitely been handled, with scrapes on the outside of the case and wrinkles in the manual. If I had known that I would not have bought. I was hoping it was just leftover new stock with the old cover. Nintendo code was unredeemed though.

TP is criticized for being far too monotonous. The tutorial takes forever, and having to retread most dungeons twice because of the forced dog mode is obnoxious as all hell. Tack on the fact that the game is way too long for a Zelda title and you get a very unique, but severely flawed experience.

It's a very good game, but it's far from perfect.

On topic:

I'd get a copy of this, but I'd like to know if it's the Selects version or not.
I want to play this with my 6yo, but I think I will pass. It looks too scary. The werewolf thing is kind of creepy.
I'd give it a shot if he has the patience, though I agree with the other posters that TP seems to have more annoying moments, than any zelda I can remember, save OOT. Hope that doesn't mean skyward will be even worse lol

I got my copy a week ago and it was not the selects version.

Eventhough tp was my favorite zelda there were two things annoyed me about it:

.stupid light spirit bug collecting that was put in the game to be Nothing but uneeded filler

.we all hate navi for saying "hey !" And "listen" so what does nintendo do ? Make a emo version of navi named minda who did nothing but use link as a slave for the most part and what did she do most of the time ? She yawned non stop while riding on wolf links back. I got so annoyed hearing her go "yaaaaaaawn" lol. She at least makes up for it later

hey that's a spoiler lol
What? I don't see Wind Waker mentioned in the OP!

;)
Does it make me an awful human being if I honestly loved The Wind Waker??

Anyways, Twilight Princess for $10 is a steal. In for one. Thanks OP!!

Thanks for the info. Might just roll the dice.

Ordered last week and got my copy a few days ago. It was practically new aside from a little wear on the manual pages. Excellent deal.

Roll brother, roll. I was late to the party and mine came in regular version. Full case, decent manual. Good stuff.
This is a good deal OP, thanks.

And Imma let you finish, but OoT is the best Zelda of all time.

And MM is the second best.

And WW is the third best.

And ALttP is the fourth best.

But after that, TP is the best Zelda of all time.
Theres a great phenomenon out there, its called opinion

Thats far from how I'd rank it
I'm sure this has been already mentioned, but I got this new for less than $10 at my local Sears.
Same here. got mines from sears for $9.97. Regular art cover and not the select. It was behind a different game inside those plastic cases locked on peg hooks.
I have the GC version I picked up from the last GS B2G2. Any reason to play the Wii version?
Unless you like to flail your arms around, no. Gamecube version all the way

No. GameCube version is how it was intended. The Wii version is mirrored. You're not missing anything, anyway.

Cool, thanks for the replies.
Mine came new. It was still sealed. Thanks OP.
Wasn't there a sticker on the back of the case that said "used-like new"?

You're right. I missed that. The case and disc look new. Unfortunately, I didn't get a Club Nintendo code.
