Week of 10/23 will be the Space magnet, right? I'd kind of like to have that since I have some of the 80's space sets.

Hmm... I guess I'll finally pick up Space Truck Getaway - which is still $29.98. I've been waiting for a price drop since April - I guess it's probably time to cave in and buy it before it disappears.

Gotta love this.... comes out to saving $17 over MSRP once tax is slapped onto it.

not sure if getting it for just over 100 would be worth it.

I guess if it's paired up with a SW battlepack, I could sell it to recoup the cost.

Yeah, week 4 is the space guy. I got mine last Sunday as they were apparently out of forest men so let me choose between the last two. It's worth noting that in the picture he has an air tank think on his back (like my free white space man from a year or two ago) but that piece was not included.
Kids Woot has the Anakin Lego Clock for $12.99+5shipping. Not a bad price considering what the clocks retail for at the store.
The price of them in store is now $20, so you save 10% plus tax so it's not bad.
Disneystore.com has Queen Anne's Revenge for $89.99 use promo code shiptoday on orders $75 or more for free shipping.
Nice, I might order, since that'll be the cheapest.

Looks like all the other PotC are on sale too, wonder if they'll go cheaper...

Was in Costco today and saw that they had Lego Brickmaster sets for 14.50 and the different sets were City, Atlantis, Star Wars, Ninjago.

Don't know how relevant or wanted these may be by everyone but seems like an ok deal. If you're not familiar with it, the packaging looks like a hardcover book, the instructions are printed on full color glossy pages. The printed retail price is 29.99

Grabbed a Star wars set that comes with 240 pieces, storm trooper and droid. I think the other sets had 140 pieces each

Broseph, don't wait too long to get that Space Truck. I believe TRU's "additional 25% off all clearance" (prices ending in '8' or '0') promo ends on 10/16. I remember seeing that on a postcard I got from TRU, but perhaps prim can confirm this.

I did not know this was happening. Thanks for the heads up! In fact, I might go this morning.

**Edit
Got it! $22 and some tax. Scored two magnets, Ninja Princess and Forest Guy. Thanks Zepp!

Is that the Scorpion knights in there?!?

fantastic, seems like 7 is going to be very expensive

Guess I'll head out for Lego store Fashion Valley at 7am...hope there aren't 300 people that early for the minifigure set.

Man, I lose my shit every time a new series is revealed. I hope they never stop making these things.

I love the Heavy Armor Guy, Rocker Girl, Stuntman and the Aztec Warrior. Is the Programmer holding a briefcase in his other hand? Or could it be a laptop? A way to get a bazillion laptop pieces would be nice.

Toys n Bricks had another big update last night, lots to look at over there.

You would be surprised, I went to the one they had at South Coast Plaza. We got there maybe a little less than 2 hours before stores opened and I was at least the 100th person in line.

Are there more people there now? I was going to mention this part, it's good that you there early because most likely they will only let a certain amount of people in the store and if your further back in line it takes forever!

i have a favor to ask of all you TRU lego'rs - I imagine most of you are Rewards members - long story short - just got my TRU reward coupons in the mail - it had a 'rewards' coupon for a free Leapfrog book - I have 2 boys 3/4 and they just got one these things - if anyone is not going to use their coupon any chance that I might be able to work some deal with you for it???

also thanks for the TRU lego promo info for today - picked up the free builds for the boys and bought some legos with an old gift card i had - got the free magnet and a free Ninja Spinjitsu arena - boys played with it all day -

Yeah they only let in 10 people at a time. I was part of the second wave to get in. The only lego store I've been to is the one at Disneyland and Fashion Valley feels kinda cramped.

How valuable are these collectible minifig sets anyways?

They use the same figures but the print in the back and packaging is different depending where it opened. I like the Beatles promo that UK got better though.

Here is a completed listing on eBay for it. The only problem I see is that people don't really know about them or get forgotten.

When you buy 4 leapfrog games/books, they send you a coupon for your 5th one for free. It's a special coupon for this promotion, not something regular rewards members will receive.

How did the event go at your store today prim4444? We got there a little more than an hour early and managed to catch the end of the Chugington event and waited for the Lego event to start. There were only a few other people that got there early but right two people came out of the wood works. I know I wasn't expecting it and I'm asking for two much but I wish the pieces were printed but this makes me very thankful that the regular sets are not stickers.

I won't know until Monday.;) I asked them to save the extra bricks if they had any left over. I did manage to make 3 sets earlier in the week just in case.

@Broseph - glad I could help ya out bro!

Got my Lego magazine today. Came with a 10% off coupon. With double VIP points this month, I may have to visit yet again.
how do u get that mag? i'm a VIP member, but no mag
It used to come if you ever bought anything through the website. If not you can get a form in any set and mail it in. You need to renew it every two years, and to be clear the 10% coupon is good in store only and is on the newest catalog and not magazine.

If anyone is after the Target exclusive POTC4 5-Disc BD with mini Black Pearl LEGO set : bring the Best Buy ad that shows the regular 5-Disc for 26.99 and have Target price match (YMMV), then use a Disney Movie Rewards coupon for an additional $5 off until 10/23, making the total only 21.99. Pretty good for 5 discs and an exclusive LEGO!

Anybody know what the best deal for the holiday post office will be before the holidays? I think the last two set i just bought from amazon or lego at a small discount.

Has anybody heard what sets are on sale for the last week of bricktober?

I stopped at Target yesterday but they were all out of the Black Pearl edition of PotC. I was only really buying it for the Lego though, so I guess it's not a total loss.

I think the best you're going to get for the post office is amazon with no tax or at the Lego store with a free PaB box. It just came out so I doubt it will be on sale. I'm going to wait till next year on that one.

Yeah I doubt it will be on sale being that it's new. But if you spend $30 more from LEGO S@H you do get free shipping and that neat little Christmas set.

And double points if you get it before the end of the month, if you are a member of their VIP program. The points (at double points) work out to about 10% back. 1 point per dollar spent, 100 points=5 dollars off, then double that for double points events ($10 off for every $100 spent).

There is the possibility of getting a slightly (very slightly) better deal around Black Friday. If there is a store nearby and anyone wants to brave the crowds, for the past few years they have had scratch off cards that get you 10%, 20% or 50% off. So, you would get at least 10% off (instead of a 10% rebate) and still get the points on the remainder. And, if you spend a little more, the second little Christmas set and I believe a Pick a Brick box.

For those that bought this... Inside the box, is the movie in its normal blu-ray case or in a dvd case or something completely different?

Also, November has a bonus of a free PaB box if you spend over $75.

Yes, there is a 10% coupon on catalog. I used it to buy the Medieval market village. I got the free holiday set as well and I think I got double points. I hope this was a good deal. I have wanted this set for a long time.
For those that bought this... Inside the box, is the movie in its normal blu-ray case or in a dvd case or something completely different?
I finally was able to print the $5 coupon and bought this today, after making a quick stop at Best Buy to pick up their ad for a price match at Target. It only cost me $16.99 because the BB ad lists the price in big bold face as $21.99 with the fine print reading something like "with $5 Disney coupon, $26.99 without." So the girl incorrectly price matched to $21.99 (I didn't see that fine print either until I got out to my car), then she scanned the $5 off coupon on top of that = $16.99 plus tax. Sweet deal! I hope the movie is good too. I haven't opened it yet, but I will post later tonight how the case looks, unless someone beats me to it.
