They both lasted two years according to Brickset. Both should be replaced by minifigure scale sets this summer, which makes me happy.i missed out on the 1989 batmobile. im surprised the batwing lasted that long unless they made a lot more for batwing
Supposedly $55-$60. (It's 55 Euro so it can be anywhere from $50 to like $90). The train is $40.I like the Up house but it will almost assuredly be priced higher than I’m willing to spend.
Wonder how the 1989 minifig scale Batmobile will differ from the promo one that was offered with the large BatmobileThey both lasted two years according to Brickset. Both should be replaced by minifigure scale sets this summer, which makes me happy.
Looks like 600 pieces to me. The set actually has three walls and details inside, plus a ton of small pieces will be in the ballon area.598 pieces? Where the hell did they put the other 200 pieces?!? Is that graphic on the box to the left of the figures a new indicator they just threw in a bunch of rando bricks to get the piece count up?
Silly design. That's not nearly enough balloons to get that house into the air. At least make the balloon / house ratio somewhat close to the movie.Disney announced today that Up will be remade as a live action movie. The story will be slightly different because 20 minutes into the movie as the house takes off Biden will order the house shot down because it's a 'Chinese spy plane'. Russel then spends the rest of the movie seeking justice and fighting for peace.![]()
The set is supposedly $60 for 598 pieces.
Licensed sets are what saved Lego. Can't really fault them to keep dipping into that well. More and more, I'm just trying to limit myself to the IPs I actually care about (like BttF)The BTS set may sell a million bijillion copies or it may not, but for me it’s the clearest example yet that Ideas is nothing but a lazy cash grab. Nothing more than a bunch of minifigs with a slapped together build for $100. The Office proved the concept works, but at least there was something of a build.
Sets based on existing IPs are anything but “Ideas” as far as I’m concerned. But based on Reddit and Brickset and elsewhere, that’s mostly what people want. Now I’m off to go pound sand.
And no one went 'You just don't like BttF!'. It's just a bad set, this Kpop set is just a bad set. However two of the figures look like guys I've dated, it's almost creepy. :lol:I still need to build the new Delorean set. But the original minifig scale one was comically terrible. I've seen mods using a large slope for the hood, but haven't tried doing it myself (not that they're great either....just too many issues with the set to fix)
20% off and $10 back on $50 isn't a terrible deal, but yeah the selection is very, very limited. They have a few sets discounted not much though.
There’s a d2c Star Wars set rumored, $650 5300 pieces.Interesting Star Wars rumours.
New Swamp Troop battlepack, 106 pieces and a price increase to $25. I'm curious to how high does LEGO go with those prices and how high you have to be to buy them.
More fun is a $170 Yavin base. That should be fun or garbage, no middle. 12+ figures.
Getting three Star Wars mechs. Darth Vader, Boba Fett, Stormtrooper. Because Marvel and NinjaGo didn't have enough $15 mechs.
They will have another one, I think it’s been made 3 times already.Baymax?
Anyone think the clone turbo tank will be remade? I sold mine a while ago but my son is really into the clone wars and that's one of the vehicles we don't have. I was thinking of selling/trading my sealed 2013 AT-TE for it.
Ah, yes, the watching porn with roommates/SO nearby method.I just mute them and fast forward until I see what I want.
No I need the sound for porn otherwise it just doesn't do it for me.Ah, yes, the watching porn with roommates/SO nearby method.
Everything's too damn expensive these days. Hasbro wanting $35 for Marvel Legends, $25 Lego battle packs with < 150 pieces... can't justify the premium for the product we're getting anymore.
=‘(No I need the sound for porn otherwise it just doesn't do it for me.
Too much info?
It's $25 for 106 pieces! So unless it's like 8 minifigures that is an insane price. So happy I'm not into Star Wars and got all the ships I want for cheap. (I do want a Y-Wing) I feel bad for you people who want to army build Star Wars displays.
I'm curious to which ones don't you know. Besides The Princess and the Frog, Baymax from Big Hero 6 (Who looks terrible in minifigure form), the two Day of the dead characters from Coco and Stitch all of the other characters are decades and decades old.I’m out of the loop on Disney movies I guess. I don’t recognize quite a few of them
Ah. Princess and the Frog. Heard of it but haven’t seen it. Also had no clue that was Baymax.I'm curious to which ones don't you know. Yeah, third from the top nextto PinocchioAh. Princess and the Frog. Heard of it but haven’t seen it. Also had no clue that was Baymax.
Is one of them Jiminy Cricket?
Lego shouldn't make fat characters into Minifigures unless they will make a fat suit.Ah. Princess and the Frog. Heard of it but haven’t seen it. Also had no clue that was Baymax.

Even those aren't "new." Lilo & Stitch is 20 years old, Princess & The Frog-15 years, and Big Hero 6 is going on 10 years old. Coco is the only one I'd consider remotely "new."I'm curious to which ones don't you know. As I child of the 90s everything before 2000 is old Disney and everything after is new Disney. :Lol:Even those aren't "new." Lilo & Stitch is 20 years old, Princess & The Frog-15 years, and Big Hero 6 is going on 10 years old. Coco is the only one I'd consider remotely "new."
You missed out…As I child of the 90s everything before 2000 is old Disney and everything after is new Disney.
Captain Planet, Double Dare were the 90s and you don't seem to understand that once something comes out you can watch it in any decade after. :lol:You missed out…
Dino riders, transformers, gi joe, thunder cats, Mighty Mouse, Captain Planet, double dare, he man, Smurfs, heathcliff…. I’m sure I can think of more, my sister was watching that 2000’s crap and it wasn’t as enjoyable, 80’s early 90’s was better.
Alright, I know we’re getting off topic but I can’t let an Exosquad reference go uncommented. That show has aged incredibly well and is still my favorite animated show of all time. Back then, and now. Some of those 80s shows were really bad. I used to like Jayce and Wheeled Warriors and I couldn't get through two episodes as an adult (not that anyone remembers it).
SWATKats and Exosquad aged better, but fewer people remember those.
I'd like to see Gizmoduck as a minifig also. Darkwing Duck + Ducktales crossovers were always fun with him and Launchpad.

Talespin Sher Khan would be cool too.

Link to buy? lol"Look at this set that none of you will ever be able to buy!" - Lego *evil laugh*
