There have been a bunch of really bad summer set leaks, like beyond awful. But NinjaGo is now Chima with fire and ice. City Space is pretty cool, futuristic and a damn neat look space station!

But everything else is pretty forgetable, everyone will be saving loads of money this year!

There's a Captain Marvel in one of those sets.
You're thinking of Shazam, FORMERLY called Captain Marvel. DC has officially conceded to Marvel and dropped the name of Billy Batson's alter ego and gone with "Shazam", since that's all anyone ever called him anyways. I know I did as a kid with the Saturday Morning live action show some 30+ years ago. It's just second nature that people called him that anyways.

Carol Danvers is the one and only Captain Marvel that exists in comics or movies from now on.

Just saw the new Engame sets up close and noticed that they moved to giving Antman a printed helmet instead of his translucent eyed helm that was normal on the past iterations of the minifigure. Anyone else annoyed with that? Between that and the reused bodies on all the Endgame hero minifigures to account for the Quantum armor, it feels like Lego is super cheaping out on the production of these sets.

Also, pretty stoked about the Iron Man and Dum-E polybag coming to Wal-mart. I'm going to try to pick up 2-3. One to open, 2 to keep sealed for the collection just in case my kids want them one day.

I like how you are complaining about the new Antman helmet. Elsewhere on the LEGO cult sites people say the current helmet sucks. They have been wanting it to change for years. I don't get it. I'm just glad Ironman has the helmet that opens.

You can't fault LEGO for having all the same suit when that's what they wear in the movie.

Not sure if anyone else is getting Steamboat Willie but it's already LIVE and qualifies for Double VIP Points until midnight.
On the plus side:

+ This is so much better than the original Ideas submission. The boat on that was total trash.

On the minus side:

- $90 for 751 pieces? Really?

- midnight is east coast time -- it's not midnight here right now, and it's not double points.

I like it, but I don't $90 like it. It also seems really wrong that the Yellow Submarine had 4 minifigs and cost $60. Yeah, piece count was less at 550. But that would point to Steamboat Willie being $80, not $90.

And the Flintstones set was 748 pieces with 4 minifigs for $60.

Yeah, no thanks. I'm glad they improved the boat. Too bad they couldn't improve the price.

Family is huge on Disney so I grabbed this... I tried at midnight last night but for some reason I was having issues with the mobile site.. wish I would have just done it on the computer while it was double points.. I kinda waited hoping for a freebie but the new promo sucks

And the only TWO minifigures (In a $90 set!) on the boat you can get in the CMF series. They didn't even include the goat which is insane because I swear I saw the goat in a leaked picture with Minnie. They added a stand for the figures to increase the price $10+.

You get the Chick pod with $35+ starting on the 5th.

I saw something about the minifigure series ones being silver instead of grey or vice versa. 🙄

Just looked up the Toy Story sets.  Wow, that's some straight up hot trash.  lol

- Woody as a traditional minifig looks terrible & nothing like the Minifig series Woody with the long face.

- the RC set looks like a Junior set and pales in comparison to the previously released RC set

- the $50 Carnival Mania set looks like a $20 set of just random little shit

- RV set also looks like a Junior set for some reason

- Thrill Coaster looks unfinished, like the designers ran out of time and just threw something together at 3 o'clock on a Friday afternoon

Not a single set I would want to purchase and that's a shame.

Give me a nice (few hundred pieces) power function/remote control kick-ass RC set and I'd be all over it.

Had a productive couple of days

Saw the Endgame and Star Wars sets this morning but passed for now. Only want the Hall of Armor set but read last night that they’re already on sale at Target

Might have something to do with the fact that they are 'Junior' sets. LEGO retired the 'Junior' name and made it '4+'. They are in the same horrible type line as the Incredibles sets. However, like you said, the minifigures are even worse in this line.

That said I will defend the RV set, I think it looks fine, besides Woody, and is HALF the price. The first one was $20 for 90ish pieces. It's probably the only one I MIGHT buy, but the $10 sets this year seem to be exempt from 20% off sales.

Brickset has a sponsor that will sell you a box of Disney 2 minifigures for like $20 less than retail.

Gotta say LEGO.com has blown me away.  I ordered that Steamboat Willie set at 11:30pm on Sunday night using the free 5-8 day shipping.  It showed up today around 36 hours later.  That's not just impressing, that's 'Prime' levels impressive.

Also impressive, how smooth it went.  The last set I tried to order on release night was the Saturn V and that was a fucking nightmare.

I once ordered at 11pm and the set came in at 9 the next day. Or something like that. But that's before LEGO site went to hell and it shipped from Enfield CT where I live 20 miles from. Nice to see they fixed it.

There is ANOTHER new robot system.

So I had a busted pipe in my master bathroom which leaked into my closet where I had the Assebly Square sitting unopened since I bought it years ago. Box was ruined so I threw it out and emptied all the bags and content into a different bag.
I have no place to put it and have been meaning to get out of the modular game anyways (still have the diner unopened in a different closet since buying it)
Anyone here interested before I resort to eBay? I’ll be selling less that the LEGO store price but shipping will probably be a bit since it’s a bigger set. Shoot me a pm if so

I got mine today with free shipping too.. I screwed up somewhere and was short 2 pieces but I just took them out of the smokestack to make up for it...
I love this set

Anyone wanting to trade any of those lego movie trading cards? I’m looking to complete my collection and have a few extras. I can post a list if anyone is interestedz

LEGO should add an in-store pickup for you.
I have been to a LEGO Store twice in the last 3 years. There are none around me. I'm hoping they open one near the MGM casino but I doubt it. Enfield has the call center but not a store. I'd love to work at one though.

Plus all I want from The LEGO Store is The LEGO Store exclusive set and sometimes the build-a-fig 3 packs because they have the french bulldog now.

Sorry, I was trying to make a joke. You live 20 miles from the distribution center. They should add an "in-store" option for you at the distro center (not an actual Lego Store)!

Oh sorry, it's 2019 my sense of humor is gone.

However I used to live near the distribution center. They moved it about 12-15 years ago when they outsourced it to a 3rd party. It was in TN for awhile but I don't know where it is now. Enfield CT still has the HQ / call center.

The Chick pod is now live. All the stuff in the 'sale' section have a lower price. The Nexo / Batman Movie three figure packs are now $3.24 instead of $6 whatever I bought them for. The correct price will show up only in cart. Same with some of the older Friend, City, Disney 'Extra" pack things, they are $2.24.

Excitement! I can't wait to save 20% on 2 year old sets that Target and Walmart have had for 20-30% off numerous times!

Speaking of SW, I saw the newer 20th Anniversary sets at Target tonight.  Nice throwback packaging.

Is the Constraction line dead?  I think the Solo ones were the last ones released and I didn't see any at Target.  Also why has this line not expanded beyond Star Wars?  I could easily see a Marvel line of Iron Man, Star Lord, Ant-Man, War Machine and maybe Drax.

AND a free poster! You can't forget the free poster!!!

So LEGO is super annoying and has a hidden Facebook freebie when yo make a purchase like I did on the freaking 5th.... But anyways go here and get the one time use code (If LEGO cancels your order then you are shit out of luck.) and get last year's Easter Bunny hut for free with ANY purchase. If it's over $35 you also get the chick pod.

I placed an order, hopefully it won't get canceled... AGAIN. Or maybe it should because... my bike broke today! YAY 2019! I fully expect to be dead by July at this rate.

They did have a marvel line a while back, but it must not have sold as well.

Edit: they had DC characters and Chima too

It only sold out because it looks like it went up early on Target’s site and jackass resellers who got it at a convention are selling it for 3x the price online. Might be hard to find initially but only because of the speculative bubble that formed by launching it early at a convention and the manufactured scarcity of only selling through Target.
