I did not know that. I learn something new everyday.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Captain_Marvel_(DC_Comics)
Yeah, it was a nerdy joke. But Shazam was the original Captain Marvel.
Is that including the Space-people set?Looks like Target is starting to clearance The Lego Movie 2 sets. A couple of the smaller ones are 30% off at one of my local stores.
Go eat at Lolita's if you're still in that area. They need to bring back the UCS Batmobile.
Elessar... Not worth the money!!!
You're thinking of Shazam, FORMERLY called Captain Marvel. DC has officially conceded to Marvel and dropped the name of Billy Batson's alter ego and gone with "Shazam", since that's all anyone ever called him anyways. I know I did as a kid with the Saturday Morning live action show some 30+ years ago. It's just second nature that people called him that anyways. There's a Captain Marvel in one of those sets.
And as the 7th character in Marvel Comics to use that name since 1982, I'm sure it will stay that way.Carol Danvers is the one and only Captain Marvel that exists in comics or movies from now on.
Went there Thursday night after the crowd calmed down, got a torta especial.Go eat at Lolita's if you're still in that area.
I like how you are complaining about the new Antman helmet. Elsewhere on the LEGO cult sites people say the current helmet sucks. They have been wanting it to change for years. I don't get it. I'm just glad Ironman has the helmet that opens.Just saw the new Engame sets up close and noticed that they moved to giving Antman a printed helmet instead of his translucent eyed helm that was normal on the past iterations of the minifigure. Anyone else annoyed with that? Between that and the reused bodies on all the Endgame hero minifigures to account for the Quantum armor, it feels like Lego is super cheaping out on the production of these sets.
Also, pretty stoked about the Iron Man and Dum-E polybag coming to Wal-mart. I'm going to try to pick up 2-3. One to open, 2 to keep sealed for the collection just in case my kids want them one day.
On the plus side:Not sure if anyone else is getting Steamboat Willie but it's already LIVE and qualifies for Double VIP Points until midnight.
Family is huge on Disney so I grabbed this... I tried at midnight last night but for some reason I was having issues with the mobile site.. wish I would have just done it on the computer while it was double points.. I kinda waited hoping for a freebie but the new promo sucksNot sure if anyone else is getting Steamboat Willie but it's already LIVE and qualifies for Double VIP Points until midnight.
And the only TWO minifigures (In a $90 set!) on the boat you can get in the CMF series. They didn't even include the goat which is insane because I swear I saw the goat in a leaked picture with Minnie. They added a stand for the figures to increase the price $10+.On the plus side:
+ This is so much better than the original Ideas submission. The boat on that was total trash.
On the minus side:
- $90 for 751 pieces? Really?
- midnight is east coast time -- it's not midnight here right now, and it's not double points.
I like it, but I don't $90 like it. It also seems really wrong that the Yellow Submarine had 4 minifigs and cost $60. Yeah, piece count was less at 550. But that would point to Steamboat Willie being $80, not $90.
And the Flintstones set was 748 pieces with 4 minifigs for $60.
Yeah, no thanks. I'm glad they improved the boat. Too bad they couldn't improve the price.
I saw something about the minifigure series ones being silver instead of grey or vice versa. And the only TWO minifigures (In a $90 set!) on the boat you can get in the CMF series. You get the Chick pod with $35+ starting on the 5th.

Which sets?Looks like Target is starting to clearance The Lego Movie 2 sets. A couple of the smaller ones are 30% off at one of my local stores.
Just looked up the Toy Story sets. Wow, that's some straight up hot trash. lol
- the RC set looks like a Junior set and pales in comparison to the previously released RC set
- RV set also looks like a Junior set for some reason
It's because if you are a member there isn't a single ad on the site. (Besides the sponsorship things)Brickset...pop ups everywhere...wtf.
I saw the Batman / Metalbeard set and the Queen Watevra / Banana set. The Batman / Metalbeard is now 50% off at my store.Which sets?

I once ordered at 11pm and the set came in at 9 the next day. Or something like that. But that's before LEGO site went to hell and it shipped from Enfield CT where I live 20 miles from. Nice to see they fixed it.Gotta say LEGO.com has blown me away. I ordered that Steamboat Willie set at 11:30pm on Sunday night using the free 5-8 day shipping. It showed up today around 36 hours later. That's not just impressing, that's 'Prime' levels impressive.
Also impressive, how smooth it went. The last set I tried to order on release night was the Saturn V and that was a ing nightmare.

There is ANOTHER new robot system.

I got mine today with free shipping too.. I screwed up somewhere and was short 2 pieces but I just took them out of the smokestack to make up for it...Gotta say LEGO.com has blown me away. I have been to a LEGO Store twice in the last 3 years. There are none around me. I'm hoping they open one near the MGM casino but I doubt it. Enfield has the call center but not a store. I'd love to work at one though.LEGO should add an in-store pickup for you.
Sorry, I was trying to make a joke. You live 20 miles from the distribution center. They should add an "in-store" option for you at the distro center (not an actual Lego Store)!I have been to a LEGO Store twice in the last 3 years. There are none around me. Plus all I want from The LEGO Store is The LEGO Store exclusive set and sometimes the build-a-fig 3 packs because they have the french bulldog now.

April 15th is tax day, unless you are in MA or ME. But it's also the day we will get news on MAY THE FOURTH promos. I wouldn't get your hopes up.
AND a free poster! You can't forget the free poster!!!Excitement! I can't wait to save 20% on 2 year old sets that Target and Walmart have had for 20-30% off numerous times!
They did have a marvel line a while back, but it must not have sold as well.Speaking of SW, I saw the newer 20th Anniversary sets at Target tonight. Nice throwback packaging.
Is the Constraction line dead? I think the Solo ones were the last ones released and I didn't see any at Target. Also why has this line not expanded beyond Star Wars? I could easily see a Marvel line of Iron Man, Star Lord, Ant-Man, War Machine and maybe Drax.
Did it go up? This site says Monday. http://www.rebelscum.com/story/front/Star_Wars_Celebration_Chicago_2019_LEGO_Convention_Exclusive_Update_183664.asp?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_appSo this stupid ass set sold out in less than 30 minutes.
