I saw Elvis riding a unicorn on Instagram. That post is more likely to be true.

Also the Target website crashed for more than a day, you think Lego can handle a "sale"?

Walmart has a few sets for $45, including Baby Yoda. LEGO Star Wars Skywalker Saga is also $15 for all systems.

Maybe Lego is finally realizing they jacked prices up way too high? Sales must be soft this year for there to be this many sales on their own site

yeah, this is pretty unusual for LEGO. Bunch of Speed Champions on sale too, which are overpriced to begin with and getting another raise next year. Hopefully they'll be rethinking that decision.

Revenue for all of 2022 saw a 17% increase. First six months of 2023 revenue was up 1%. Hasbro and Funko saw double digit decreases.

The beautiful thing with price increases is that they work and give LEGO more ridiculous amounts of money or they don't work and then LEGO just has the biggest black friday says ever!!! Either way is a win for LEGO. It's a win win to LEGO.

Even if LEGO saw net profits drop 50% from their 2022 numbers they still be making a billion dollars.

Knights Castle is $300, you can blow me now bigdaddy

Lots of sets on sale right now on LEGO!!!

Got Avengers Tower for $100, after redeeming my points.

The LEGO sale doesn't completely suck. However a lot of these sets LEGO increased the price of just to inflate the price to lower it more during 'sales'. However there are some decent prices. The Friends Disco Arcade is only $36 which is a great price for that great set. Shockingly only one key chain is on sale.

My favorite thing on clearance is the daffodil set for 40% off because it's supposedly being retired and replaced with a new one for $15. It is exactly the same set, just different number and costs more.

I had purchase Lion Knights Castle last weekend. Placed an order for a backordered backup and sent them an email hoping to refund the difference so I can cancel the new order and avoid a return. We'll see how that goes.

Can't believe the gray Castle reward redemption sold out so fast. It's possible they could make more and make it available again. So many sets sold out before I could get logged into the site and add them to my cart. Of course going through rakuten, honey, etc didn't help. I wasn't able to get the Ninjago Mech, justifier or lunar base (which I stupidly missed at Target for less). I'm going to head over to my local store and see what I can pick up that's already sold out online.

Only to the info I gave, which was reliable, you can continue with your lego tirade after your done.
Okay. So next year LEGO will increase the prices of the sets another 25%, make the Castle $500 then for Black Friday they will have it on sale for $300 and go 'BIGGEST SALE EVER!!!!!' The castle should have been $300 to begin with, and let's see fast it will sell out.

Target had an actual sale because they were 20% off already reduced prices.

Honey has some good cashback. I bought the Star Wars Holiday set, the exclusive little elf Dreamzzz set and the Monkey Kid Moon Pie Base with $17 cashback.

Rakuten has 15% cashback if the things aren't exclusive.

Amazing the little grey castle sold out in what 20 minutes?

Daily Bugle is $243 on amazon, I picked up the white house for $57, tall neck is $52, mario coin block is $140. Lots of other sets marked with a good discount, medieval blacksmith is $130

I was able to redeem points for it at 5 est.

Fell asleep early and surprised Galaxy Explorer sold out already. I bought it year ago for $50 from Walmart but parted it out. Haven’t been able to get a deal on it since.

Good Black Friday sale overall since it wasn’t all just 20% off. I’m trying to resist making a second order because there’s a bunch of good retiring sets in there.

Edit: Reddit filled with Euro complaints about US sales being better. Take that, socialists.

The little grey castle is in stock. Maybe it wasn't sold out around midnight, just LEGO doesn't know how to run a website.

26 sets have sold out overnight. I'm surprised more haven't.

Yeah, I forgot to post. Saw the difference back in stock, bought it in contacted customer service to add it on to my Lion Castle order since it isn't shipping until December.

Walmart is having a Cyber Monday sale, starts tomorrow. Half off a couple Speed Champ cars [$10] and Winnie the Pooh will be $50! Walmart+ members get deals 3 hours sooner.

So glad the site went down for Cyber Monday. What deals did I miss lol?
I was thinking the same thing. For a site called Cheap Ass Gamer that hasn't been updated in decades deciding on the biggest shopping weekend of the year to update is funny.

Also to sign into the site is a pain. It has more security than my student loans website and bank websites have. The site thinks it's important? lol

I created a Lego deals discord a while back but only a few people joined and nobody used it

The only Lego thing I bought was the Guardians Benatar for my son since he was jealous my other son has it.

I would've bought a ton this weekend, but decided not to get murdered by my wife with my 2nd child having just been born on the 22nd. The discount on the Lion's Castle was nice...

You are buying the castle for your new born, duh. I don't see any problems. Well besides the fact one demon wasn't enough for you?

Also if your wife murders you can I have your LEGO?

My wife is usually pretty supportive/lenient with my Lego spending so I gave it a shot with the Lion’s Castle in a roundabout way. “Yeah, there’s a lot of crazy deals on Lego right now… you know that really nice Lego Castle that was $400 originally? They marked it all the way down to $300, isn’t that crazy?! That’s probably the cheapest it’ll ever get before it retires and shoots up in price” Her response, “oh”. Ah well, gave it a shot.

But then you end up spending $700 buying a bunch of little sets instead of the one huge set for $300. Not that I speak from experience.

That's the 'ol Pick-A-Brick fallacy... Oh I'll get these neat unique parts without buying the expensive set. Oh I just need $15 more for no service charge. Oh it's just $35 for free shipping. Oh look there's these other neat unique parts now...

Target has a much of Pokemon MEGA Bloks for 30% off with another 30% off with a Target Circle coupon. Ends today.

Costco is starting to clearance their LEGO sets, I’ve seen the dreamz treehouse and sub for $60, Ahsoka’s ship and battle of hogwarts were $40. Tranquil garden had a discount at $70.

No, which ones did you get? I think the mini figs and some of the small builds are great.
I have all 5 of this year's, plus last year's Harry Potter, an older Harry Potter I bought a few when they were $13 and a the 2020 Friends one.

You say no but I have no place to keep 8 kind of open boxes.

A bunch of new 2024 sets have been revealed. Space sets in City, Friends, Technic, Creator [The best wave of sets ever.] and even Dreamzzz.

Friends and City feel like steps back. City isn't even using the modular building they just introduced this year.

One Speed Champ car is $27, but two will be $45. So why couldn't the single cars stay at an already outrageous $25?

How so? I had to reset my password (not enough characters for the new requirements) to get in, but that was it.

I had to reset my password a couple times, every time I signed in I have to have a code emailed to me to also sign in. I had to copy 10 different number codes in case I ever lose my password in the future. It says it only keeps you logged in for 30 days.

I just found another, last year's City one. So I opened 6 of them. This year's Friends, old Friends and Harry Potter ones I had doubles or triples of I'll wait until next year.

What's up with the Lego Mario Piranha Plant being hard to find? I only see it at a Target about an hour away.
It's like the UP house, just wait until the demand dies down. However have you seen how tiny the thing is for $60? It's insane. I love it but it's a $35 set tops.

The LEGO Masters Trophy is all claimed. Thankfully I did get a second one, but forgot to claim a third one.

I found one at Target. Waiting for demand to die down is not a sound Christmas shopping strategy for a 10 year old!
