Haven't played a lego game since the 1st batman lego game. How is this one? I heard it has some kind of open world, how does that work?

Lego Batman 2 had the same thing. It's really cool it's essentially a giant open world city kind of like GTA where you can go explore for collectibles and secrets. In Batman 2 you used all kinds of vehicles you could get or unlock, and from what I've seen of Marvel you can also use heroes like Iron Man, or Spider Man to get around.

Picked up the Wii U version of this for $25. Really happy with that price because this game looks really fun.
