Lego Star Wars: Complete Saga (Wii/360/PS3/DS) $20 at Amazon (also at GS, GC, others)
Anyone know if you can use your old save from the Original Trilogy on the 360 version?
I dont think so. There totally diffrent.

do we think this is the verge of a universal drop? i am tempted to get the 360 version. i have the ps3 but i lost my game when my ps3 took a shit and my dad has had my game for like a year now....maybe i'll wait til they're in stock...

Of course it is. The Target price is $19.99 now too. Look at the history of the previous games in the series. Its a no-brainer to wait longer especially if you already have the previous games in the series and aren't in a hurry.

Ordered the 360 version yesterday, and it shipped already (instead of 2 to 4 weeks). Can't wait to play it again, and thanks again OP.

LOL. Figures that just after I ordered it, the price drop becomes Universal. Sigh. It's ok, I'm patient, just as long as I don't get a greatest hits package I'm happy.

Still, good deal no matter where you get it IMO.

Let's get some CAG multiplayer going.
are these platinum hits versions?

Edit: Ordered from Walmart with site to store, thanks regis100.
Damn didnt think of that, platinum makes me ill.

I was just playing the demo to the second one today, I am going to pick this up as soon as I can get to a store. May have to pick it up used, thanks for the info.
If this is indeed a universal drop when can we expect to see some other retailers re-pricing accordingly?
Well, I picked up the Wii and DS versions used from Gamestop today (Sat) for $12.59 each ($17.99 - Edge - Cellfire 20% off coupon). They were both correctly tagged with the price drop. I really want the 360 version, though, and I only found 1 copy at two GS and it had something poured on it - I can hold out for a mint one as I'm in no hurry on it. I pretty much beat it on a rental when it first came out so I'm just looking to pick it up to finish off a couple of achievements and let the kids mess around with it.

I edited the thread title to reflect the growing universality of this drop ;).

Sweet baby jesus! I'm going to be going to the local Gamestop tomorrow to see if their listed used copies for Wii are complete and in good shape.

Not a bad price. Not a bad price at all. I'm in the same boat as you are with the 360 version so I'll keep an eye on this thread. Shame the target near me was out of stock.

Not sure if this has been stated, but Wal-Mart has this for 19.82. You can get free shipping ordering online if you go site to store.
Very good deal OP. Got mine for the :ps3:

Thanks! :D

--Michael
got mine too but for :360:
I love the lego games I played Indian Jones and looking forward to getting lego batman sometime

Just picked up an extra at Target for $19.99. If anyone needs a copy, I'll be glad to sell it at exact cost (and exact cost of shipping). PM me of interested.
How do i do a search for used game inventory on the site? I remember being able to do it in the past but cant find it anymore
Gamestop changed its website ages ago. Search for 'lego' for example, then click a button at the bottom of the screen to "show" backordered items which may be available in store.

This is *NOT* a universal price drop, people keep posting that it is but one look at Target.com or circuitcity etc.. and you will see various versions at various prices.

$17.99 used at gamestop is pointless, that has nothing to do w/ new/sealed retail prices jeez.

Walmart, Amazon, Bestbuy, GameStop all have it around the $20 mark. All stores will have a variation. GameStop rarely drops the new price of an item unless it is a universal drop. It does happen, but rare. They also tend to drop their used prices around the time they drop the new price. Again, not always, but tends to be the case. The fact other stores are doing it for that price as well does lend it to be quite possibly universal. I went into my local Circuit City and Target to look for clearanced games and in store the prices are showing at the $20 mark. Not trying to start anything. Just pointing that out.

just got back from picking one up from target at $19.99 PS3. (It didn't have the price label so i asked a red shirt to check the price for me and it did come up as 19.99)

target.com $49.99 PS3
Bestbuy.com $19.99 but no PS3 version
sears.com $49.99
Toysrus.com $49.99
ebgames.com OUT OF STOCK new

various amzon.com 3rd party sellers have it $19.99 new + rape shipping

It could be universal someday, but not just yet at $20 across the board. BTW I am talking NEXT GEN versions only, the DS version doesn't count... its garbage

Wait, is the Complete Saga messed up too? People said the original DS Lego Star Wars was crap, but this new version fixed all those old problems.

Yeah, the DS LSW II was pretty bad - I played through most of it but it became unplayable in the RotJ part. But the new one is MUCH better. I haven't played it but my son went through a few levels yesterday and he enjoyed it. It was well worth the $12.59 is GS credit that I just paid for it. Heck, even LSW II never really went on sale/clearance anywhere, so I figured that's a pretty damn good price.
This is in stock at deepdiscount.com for $18.99 for anyone interested. All versions - Link
360 version is OOS. But its free shipping, so it even beats Wal-Mart 'ship to store' by a few bucks (tax mostly).
360 version is listed as $19.99 at Best Buy. Check store stocks because it doesn't seem to be readily available.

Heading to store now....Thanks!

Seriously, WTF?! According to the site, the game is out of stock in dozens of stores around me, which covers a pretty large area. Did they just pull it from stores to make room for the new wave of fall games, or did everybody suddenly learn of the price drop and rape all the stores within days?

Is it worth $20? Hell yeah. The game is easy, no question, but it has a certain charm to it and is rather fun. Watch some videos on gametrailers or something to see whether you'll like it.
