Lego Star Wars: How much does it spoil?

I'm a new Star Wars fan, and since I'm rapidly becoming obsessed, I've been wanting to try all the enw games. I had Lego, Republic Commando, and Ep.III in my GameFly GameQ, and Lego came today.

I didn't realize it would be one of the first games to ship. Since we still have a couple more weeks until Episode III, I would like to know if the Ep. III portion of the game includes major spoilers, or if they basically just gloss over little details. I mean, everyone knows how the movie will end, but I don't want the entire film played out for me in Lego form since I've been trying to avoid spoilers.

I just got my first 2 GameFly games in the mail, and they are in flawless condition. No scratches are present whatsoever. Am I probably the first one to play these copies, or are all their games in such good condition? I only ask because they have some pretty good "Keep It" prices, but I'd only want to purchase games that are in perfect condition. I'm pretty anal about that.

They're all in that good of condition.. usually.

And I would imagine that RotS would spoil more than Lego.. Lego SW kinda glossed over Episode 1 and 2, I would imagine it'd do the same for 3.

There are many people who could probably recite the movie line for line. The entire storyline and parts of the script (if not the whole thing) have been leaked, and the book has been released as well.

The comic adaptation is out, too. I have read it, but I haven't played the Lego game, so... I still can't answer your original question.

I could alleiviate your concerns about the game, though, by filling this thread with spoilers. That way, the game can't ruin it any further for you. ;)

I haven't touched it yet because I'm trying to stay away from Episode 3 as much as possible until the movie comes out. BUT, I have heard there are three different sections in the game -- one for each film. You could always just play the first two for now.

Then comes back to life, only to die in Eps 6.

As for Lego Star Wars, if you've seen the original triology and the mini cartoon series, the game will spoil almost nothing.

I've read through most of the script online, and I'm still interested in checking out the finished film for the full audio/visual effects package. I don't get why some folks are so worried about a few spoilers when you already know the basic story to begin with.

But not really dead becausae of how they sew up one of the massive loose threads of the series at the last friggin' minute in Ep. 3.

95% of Episode III is extremely predictable, with the remaining five percent just tying up loose but not critical threads. One is handle in a way that pretty much ruins the impact of a scene in 'Return of the Jedi' where Luke asks Leia if she remembers her mother. We the audience were given to believe this was their mutual biological mother but the ending of 'Sith' makes that impossible, leaving only her adoptive mother, who Luke never met and likely died when the planet was blown up if not sooner. A bit of retroactive cruelty foisted on our twin heroes.

See the movie for the visuals. Nothing truly unexpected happens for a game to spoil.

I couldn't bring myself to play more than the first three missions in the Episode III portion -- even then, I wish I hadn't. I was reviewing it, though, so I didn't have much choice.

I don't even watch trailers for Episode III though, because I want to be as blank of a page as possible going in. I say wait on that portion of the game, and just play Ep. I and II, then try to get all the pick-ups using free play with different characters.

I'll spoil the movie for everyone....

The Sith win.
Anikin is Darth Vador and Vador is Skywalkers dad!!!
