Would the word retarded sum it enough for you? The original's context was funny, but this is just ridiculously stupid. You really should get over it. There's nothing special about this video.

Well...they didnt. And there is not much more you can say about a really shitty video that has no creativity or original content. What do you want him to comment on? The fact he clicked one button to lay down audio then clicked another to lay down video?

If it took him longer than 15 seconds to do I consider him a retarded ape with down syndrome.

I am not trying to be a complete dick (well just a little) but because I am a professional editor its just one of those pet peeves type of things were it just angers me to see people "make videos" that literaly only require two steps.

As for suggestions....I would say...learn how to edit then get creative and edit together a video that is actually funny. Thats all I can say to help you.

EDIT: I think the problem is that you took clip that isnt funny at all..Halo 3 and its not suppose to be. Then you took another clip that is only funny when its in context....

Meh....try agian? Maybe?

I have no problems with the words people choose. Only that they don't take the time to elaborate. As if people are coming into threads just thinking, "I wonder what hiccupleftovers's one word synopsis is". If there's nothing special about it, why are you still posting in this thread?

Hmm, where do I begin? First, I didn't make this video. I only offered it up for someone to get a laugh out of it, as I did. Nothing more. The mere fact that you have that much against it sounds to me like you've got deeper seeded resentment. Like someone doing something in the same field as you. What is a video that you recommend? What do you base your judgement off of?

Well the problem is..you are really not giving them anything they can comment on.

Your basically handing them a rock and saying how funny it is. Like I said before..there is no pet creativity in it so whats left to comment on? The only thing people can say is that its bad....

The audio is just ripped un unaltered as well as the video...so there is nothing to comment on.

For the record, I haven't been pissed off at all. Inflection is everything.

Back to my original thought, I posted a short video to give everyone a chuckle. Now I understand that not everyone will find it funny. But seriously, a negative one or two word post? What good will that do anyone? All I was asking for was a more dignified response from the posters who didn't care to elaborate.

Perspective is everything. Through your eyes, the video is only two layers of unedited information. A crude technical observation. Through my eyes, it was a cute idea that combined a highly popular, yet serious icon (Halo), and a fairly obscure, funny, internet icon (Leroy Jenkins). Give it an ounce of imagination, and it's a funny clip.

Next point, deeper seeded resentment. Yes, it sounds like you have a resentment towards people who attempt to do what you do for a living. It reminds me of a doctor who comes in to talk to a patient and says, "you have an anterior deep thigh thrombosis". When he could have said, you have bruise on your leg. He was using the "lingo" just because he could, not because it was the best thing for the patient. He sounded important. It's a bit of a stretch, but do you see what I'm saying? This is a gaming website, not an editing forum.

I asked you for an example of what you thought a good clip was. I was serious. What is your basis?

BTW, the guy who made this now has a commercial running with Southwest Airlines during the NBA finals, so it's not like he's some ameteur. He just threw the clips together.

People should love and want my one word opinion/synopsis because that's all this shit deserves. I've already taken too much time out of my days to waste and spend on this thread that I thought would amuse me. I posted one extra time in this thread because you wanted me to elaborate on why something sucks. I did it in 3 lines. Soodmeg did an essay (which I appreciate by the way) and went to my defense so thanks.
