I simply want to gauge the intrest - if any - of a rare Mario statue i have in my possession. This lifesize "Super" Mario statue use to be located in a Funcoland some 10 years ago.

This item is rare and can sometimes be found on eBay. I have since learned that these sold for and are valued at around $1,000. I was given this as a gift from my father some 10 years ago (I was a huge video game fan and still am just not as involved).

Mario is is superb shape - with only a few minor scrapes and paint flaws (very minor). I will try and upload a couple images for you to view.

Mario stands approx. 4 feet tall and is approx. 32 lbs. Made of a hard solid plastic.

As far as Shipping goes that is another topic in itself. I can touch on that if I get serious offers and decide to pull the trigger on a deal.

Again - Looking to gauge the intrest level and possibly work out a deal for someone who has a loving home / game shop that would put Mario to use (as of right now Mario is in my basement). Thanks
 
One had recently been posted in the auctions section of Tips n' Tricks, if you need a price to go by. BTW, this statue was in my local Software Etc. for the longest time, then it disapeared. I had long wondered where it had gone off to, until I recently discovered it this summer while playing kickball. I saw the back of his hat in a window in a middle school and said "WTF That's the Mario statue!"

I wish I had it.
 
I think that would come to life at night and take care of its evil murderous needs. Wake up Mario has mud on his shoes and blood on his shirt. Trust me we've all seen that movie.
 
This'll go great with my Big Boy statue.

Just put a plate of spaghetti on Mario's finger. It'll be beautiful.
