Title - Limbo
Platforms - XBLA (Xbox 360)
Genre - Platforming
Release Date - Wednesday 21st July 2010

I'll start off by saying Limbo is one of the most memorable games I've played in a long time. The independent developers, PlayDead, have created a masterpiece. As soon as you lay your eyes upon the silhouetted land of Limbo you'll be engrossed into the world. Limbo is a platformer that encourages critical thinking and quick reactions. A disturbing yet engaging title that comes out on the Xbox Live Arcade service July 21st 2010 for a price of 1200 Microsoft points (£10, $15) to kick start the Summer of Arcade promotion.

The most striking aspect of Limbo is the presentation. The world is bleak and desolate and this comes across perfectly. The art style used is a striking film noir one - black and white with shades of gray floating across the screen as mist, it is suited to the bleak and desolate world and is extremely attractive and will grab the attention of anyone nearby engrossing them into the world as well.
