Everyone on cag just needs to make it real simple. Type out whatever little speech it is you have about youtube being the one and only reason in the universe that old games are expensive and how it has personally effected your life and ruined it, resellers are the devil and after they sell a game to make a profit during the day they come to your house at night to kill your dog and rip off its dick and anally rape you with it then choke your grandma to death with said dick and they cut off your balls and put them in your eye sockets, bitch about limited games actually being limited and how its a crime to humanity but only if its a limited game you want but otherwise if you get one then you gloat about it and tell others to chill out, or whatever your mindless rant of the day is. Then save those, make a new thread, and then just copy/paste them at eachother in there till the end of time instead of having to clog up every single thread on this forum with the same tired and utterly useless tantrums I have been reading here for years from the same users being thrown at the same users over and over again. Its like a god damn broken record of retarded children that have drank too much mountain dew and are arguing over which is better, fuzzy carpet or potato chip.

Saw that as well and figured it was a presale, but real pic and states it was in hand. Honestly think $75 is too low long term for Darius.

Probably b/c nobody's gonna want to pay too much for it now, when they know they have a chance to get it this Friday.

Depending on this Friday goes though, I expect this game will skyrocket... we just don't know to what extent.

I'm just wondering how they got it early. Now, who is to say others didn't get it early as well and just haven't put it eBay yet. Could this be an employee and if so, maybe this needs to be addressed by LRG. I understand that employees probably received a free copy but if they are selling it on eBay early, I'm sure that LRG has some type of rules about that.

It's not an employee copy because the UPC would have been punched. My guess is that this is stolen or LRG sent some out as a promo copy and became an asshole and sold it instead.

CE/LRG Anything the likes comes down to the following:

1. People who want stuff no one else can get easily to mock with.

2. Money.

Hence, #2 Look at  Marvel movies which are being made and popular to watch, People are now going back to pickup first/key issues of all characters to resell and make money when in the first place they couldn't give a shit about. OH there might be a Cloak & Dagger show or Moon Knight on Netflix.. Call to Arms! get anything related to both and jack up the prices. Why its about money.

#1 People want low print runs ONLY if they were able to get in, otherwise they cry fowl and ask for reprints so they can get in on the action. Why Because there worth MONEY now.

my .02 cents

Kind of pissed off about this. It means Sony is sometimes getting non-sample copies. We haven't sold or given copies to anyone outside of NC - so no idea how this dude in CA has a copy.

Just to make sure you guys know - it isn't Play-Asia doing those releases. It's eastasiasoft - Play-Asia is just the distributor. I'd prefer that credit for these releases go to the guy actually making them happen. Nils (who runs EAS) is a collector so he gets this better than any of our other "competitors" (in quotes because I don't necessarily feel like we're all competitors here). Nils is legit and isn't just jumping on a bandwagon like some of the others.
I'm not sure if you can answer this, but does eastasiasoft have some "insider" information on making separate trophy lists with the occasional platinum trophy added? I haven't seen any other developer able to do this so easily (then again, maybe it's more difficult behind the scenes?), and they seem to be aware of the trophy-hunters in their audience.

It's actually really easy to do, but Sony doesn't like it. They've advised against it with multiple releases from us.

I feel like numbering your games individually would be the only way to stop this kind of stuff from happening but that's also probably not the easiest or cheapest option. I've noticed that many LRG games have a open area on the back cover... perfect spot for a sticker or something.

IIRC, Sony doesn't offer anything like that so they would have to do it manually.

Not to add any fuel to the fire but the same person had a copy of Nova 111 which they claimed was not a pre-order and they had the item on hand

I don't blame you, I'd be pissed off too.

They got at least 2 copies or Dariusburst: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dariusburst-CS-Playstation-4-2017-English-Darius-Burst-Limited-Run-Games-NEW-/391763510858 and also sold Nova-111.

Seems dumb to sell them early, not only for the attention it attracts, but because they're not going to go for a lot when there's still 2 chances to buy the games.

Yeah, seems silly to me as well. I'll assume they think someone will pay a premium to get the game early, but for these LRG releases, these games are already out, and have been for an extended period in most cases. If someone had an early copy of Zelda or P5, those are the games to release early, but I guess he did OK with his method.

Serial numbered copies would be epic.  Wonder how many on fleabay would end up defaced with no SN.

Should pick a release at random and unannounced put UV SN's on the shrink wrap along the bottom edge or something then buy them on ebay and start banning accounts lol.

I'd totally wait an extra week or two for the time it would take to match numbers to accounts during shipping.  Would be an epic bust.

I'm chasing it up the chain at Sony. I'm looking into why copies would exist in CA without UPC hole punches.
Maybe this is the same guy who's funneling copies of that Chris guy?

Maybe that Chris guy double crossed this guy?

Maybe there's a blackmarket for LRG games that even you, Doomstink, one of the founders, don't even know about?

Coming this fall to Netflix...

I worked as an extra on Cloak and Dagger. From my understanding, it won't be on Netflix. Can't say much because of my NDA, but Google it.

I know you mean this:

But it would be cooler if you were an extra on this:

he has another copy listed on eBay right now, how's this guy getting multiple copies of unreleased LRG stuff :\

It's going to be on Freeform. This isn't a secret as the show was specifically created for the network and was originally announced back in 2011 when Freeform was still called ABC Family.

That squirrel girl new warriors show from marvel im pretty sure is also on freeform.
Yes New Warriors will be... and as a 30min comedy show. Both it and Cloak & Dagger air in 2018. In the short term... Guardians 2 next week! That is something I'm really looking forward to.

Aww. I miss Dana Plato. Still have my copy of Night Trap for the 32X. This one will be a must-buy for me but I admit it's for nostalgia alone.

Can someone explain how Limited Runs works please? As a gamer I never got a chance to play Night Trap, and I want to see what all the fuss was about. When does the game go on sale? Is it one of those things where I have to be glued to my computer before it gets sold out?

Some of their drops you do need to order pretty quickly when they go on sale, I'm not sure what the production run for Night Trap is gonna be though

Man, I thought that Night Trap was a joke, but I just checked Twitter and sure enough. It's a terrible game, not even like a good bad game, just bad.

I'll still buy it...

To put a few of your worries to rest, they typically announce the date and time that orders go live ahead of time (you can get that information from their Twitter, this thread, or their website's 'upcoming releases' section once it's known.) Typically it's a Friday with half of the stock available at 10AM EST and half available at 6PM EST, so you get two chances. Way better than regularly jamming F5 every day at a retailer.

Also, it's worth noting that essentially no one does exclusive releases on LRG. Some of their physical releases are exclusive by default, but all of these games are available digitally, usually from numerous different sources. (and on multiple platforms) So there will be a PSN, XBox Live, Steam version of Night Trap that you can get if you miss out on the LRG release.

The 3rd Night Trap cover is exclusive to the rewards program:
