what happens if someone wants to return theirs or cancel it, or payment doesn't go through?
I say Black Friday, because that's what they did with orders that were returned or canceled.

So it's most likely going to be Black Friday again, but you never know.

They'll probably hold some of that stock for expos, and what not, and then what's left when it gets closer to BF, will be for sale.

From Black Friday? No.

Edit: Didn't Josh or Doug mentioned about doing a Black Friday in July sale?

Not sure about anyone else but I feel like doing those types of spread out over the year (vs all at once) would be more easier to manage, maybe by how much stock they have to clear our. I got 5 things I wanted in my cart but by the time I got to checkout, only 2 of the things I had in my cart were still available. And I was pretty quick about it, less than 1 minute, but as things were going by at slightly different points, it made it hard to try and get everything in and checkout quickly.

hmmm that sucks. might buy it from ebay i guess. did it come with any stickers or postcards from limited games?
Yeah, all releases come with a card and sticker, but not all Ebay sellers offer them. If you want them, make sure to pick a seller offering the set with the game.

When LRG first started, they would offer the cancelled orders within a few weeks of release, but I guess at some point, that became to much to deal with, so last year after a point, they just said all games leftovers would happen BF.

No plans yet for this year, but I think they should offer specific games at a specific time, as offering everything on BF pretty much means you can only try for 1 maybe 2 titles.

Hey Doomstink, here's a great option for a PS3 reprint: Under Defeat HD. It sells for quite a bit on Ebay and is a fantastic shmup.

Ebay listings:

http://m.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=Under+defeat+ps3&isNewKw=1&mfs=GOCLK&acimp=0&_trksid=p2053742.m2428.l1313.TR1.TRC1.Xunder+defeat+ps3&sqp=under+defeat+ps3

In fact, older shmups in general are in high demand, as you saw by how quickly Soldner X2 sold. And a lot of PS3 and 360 shmups never got North American releases, making them even better options for reprints in our region. They're pretty much guaranteed to sell based on the demand for shmups among a fairly large population of fans worldwide.

I remember buying this for $10.

Anyone back Sharin no Kuni and want to get two physical copies?

The survey is confusing on how one goes about adding another physical copy. I *thought* I did that weeks ago, by I'm still getting emails saying I need to complete the survey.

Has anyone done this, and if so, what process did you follow?

Read the email, follow the directions. Open the link in the email, again follow directions.

That being said, you start off with the dollar amount you pledged. During the survey you pick the version you want. Then you'll have the opportunity to purchase add on items. It's $46 + shipping for an additional copy.

Have you received additional requests to fill out the survey after you did the first time?

I think they said PS3 is pretty much off the table. I bought a copy of this but it has a fake case and I didn't know :C I got both discs though.

We wouldn't be in charge of manufacturing any reprints, so we could really do any platform so long as the original publisher is up for doing a reprint.

Is there a reason why a publisher would not be up for a reprint, outside of any liscensing reasons preventing them from doing so?

Getting buried under a pile of inventory they might not be able to sell, lack of widespread distributor interest, little or no retailer interest, etc.

I actually received a confirmation email the first time...

Oh well - gonna fill it out again and see what happens.

I did it once and never got a follow up... you should get to a confirmation page, once you make all your selections. Maybe you quit before that page?

Dear Esther was the first walking simulator game I played. It was alright but not really my kind of game. I like narrative driven games but prefer stuff with some interaction similar to Gone Home.

What makes it a landmark edition? The gold foil cover?
No. It's a slightly enhanced version of the original release that has been moved from Source Engine to Unity 5 and has larger subtitles, crosshairs, language options and trophies and achievements. It will be released as a free upgrade for PC owners if you already have the original release.

Ah ok. I might get it. I have it on steam from a humble bundle but I couldn't get into. Slower games like that I prefer sitting in my recliner. Pc games I find I play more action based stuff or things that require more input from myself, but on my consoles I can play any kind of game.

Super excited about Dear Esther, definitely getting! And I hope that this increases the chance of a physical release of Everybody's Gone to the Rapture someday, too!

Considering I havent bought a game in awhile LRG doesnt screw me over when it comes to my strangers wrath cards. I am not buying from this bundle so march cant come soon enough. I want to buy but nothing I dont have already hasnt been for sale. Come on salt and santuary!!

Sundered got announced for a physical release and has a Kickstarter variant

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/thunderlotus/sundered-a-horrifying-fight-for-survival-and-sanit/description

To get a physical ps4 version, you need to pay at least $100CAD which ends up being $76USD but the extras are worth it. Here's what it includes

Here are the details we can share so far - note, this is all prelim and subject to change (but only for the better, we promise!):

  • PC and PS4 in the same box! That's right - not only are we confirming physical PS4 for the Sundered campaign, but every copy of the Physical Collector's Box will include physical versions for both the PS4 and PC! Reminder: this is in addition to the Digital copy for the system of your choice from the previous reward tiers!
  • Soundtrack on CD: A physical version of Sundered's haunting soundtrack!
  • Physical Art Book: A soft-cover, physical version of the Art Book full of our gorgeous hand-drawn art!
  • Kickstarter-exclusive box art: The above image is a placeholder - we're planning something unique and special for the final box!
  • Sundered Keychain
  • Sundered collectible trading cards
  • More to come!

Is this the only opportunity to get this? I'm interested in a physical version for PS4 for sure... but would prefer a regular case at $25-30, not a collector's box with PC version and a bunch of other kickstarter doodads for more than double that price.

I believe LRG will also release a version of their own through their store, but the KS will have the exclusive version.

Also, just an fyi, but there will be some extra copies of Skullgirls 2nd Encore LE available on LRG once they've fulfilled most of the pre-orders, and of course after they figure out how many of that stock they will need to use to replace damaged copies, and what not.  No actual timetable for that yet of course since we don't even have a timetable for the game yet, but for those who are interested in grabbing one after missing out on the pre-order.
