I'm gonna eat my own words.

I've already spent too much money on games this month (mostly thanks to LRG), but that stupidly low print on the 99Vidas collector's edition had me considering things. It's not even a good CE, and the game doesn't interest me THAT much... but just that 300 print had be thinking twice.

I think I'll be able to control myself and just get the basic. I really need to stop collecting CEs... I'd save a ton. I don't even do much with the CE contents... yet I feel so compelled to buy them. I need help.

Damn, I'm having the same internal debate with myself that your having. 300 is to low to pass on, but that price is killing me. I really just can't justify what's included, along with the asking price. Especially along side my last few Play-Asia offerings, as that really puts things in to perspective.

I'm sure I'll be debating this until it goes "live", but for now I'm leaning towards the standard. I wish this game looked like complete shit, in the same way Mecho Tales did, then it would be an easy pass. LOL

To be fair, people buy $0.99 (even free) cent games from LRG, so playing the value card really has no bearing here. XD
Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah I'm extremely guilty of this. Digital is (normally) great because you can get some far better discounts and sales if you just give it a bit. But having something physical means it probably will keep some, or in the case of LRG...most...of it's value. I'm happy to pick up Oxenfree at $5 during a sale, but when it was $19.99, if my options were that or $25 for a physical copy...I'm taking the physical copy.

Received my PS4 and Vita CE copies of Windjammers yesterday. I also got the pink shirt, which is the last shirt I'm buying from Fangamer. It's extremely thin and has one of those looser neck lines that look and feel weird. The games are great though!

Still waiting on mine. Haven't even got a notification that they've shipped. :(

I got my Windjammers PS4 CE yesterday also. I'm pretty bummed out that I can't see which frisbee I got without opening the box  8-[

Well those sure went fast. Had no interest in the CE. Got a regular Vita version. The CEs must have gone in about a minute.

Standard Copy for the Vita sold out as I was checking out. smh

Got a standard version of 99Vidas on vita. Those sold out quick but there is a second batch tomorrow morning if you missed it this evening.
I got caught up playing Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and completely missed the CE. I looked up at 6:02 and they were sold out.

What time is the 2nd batch going to be available?

Was able to get a vanilla copy for the Vita and PS4 plus the vita CE. Thought I had added the PS4 CE to my cart but it was that aluminum plate thing. On a side note, time moves fast with LRG games. Just counted my reward tickets and I have 80 of them.

Did LRG say what the status of Sundered is? Completely forgot I backed that game.

Also, wasn't Skullgirls Vita supposed to start shipping soon? Thought I read that Vita version finally got approval.

I really really really hope LRG is on getting Celeste, if nothing else maybe Fangamer, fuck my life if garbage iam8bit gets it

Got in my Windjammers LE... got a blue frisbee :(

Is it sad that I would normally want the blue one over the pink one but want the pink one because it's rarer?

I thought the way they handled the Hyper Light Drifter release was fine
Yeah, I thought Hyper Light Drifter was a beautiful package. They handled Edith Finch fine as well, the only issue being the cheaper heat seal shrinkwrap - which was only on there because they included a reversible cover, so it had to be sealed after they added the specialty cover. Guess Sony does those differently sometimes (most LRG game seem to be unaffected though). Trying to determine now whether I should preorder Gang Beasts. Looks like a fun couch multiplayer game.

But yeah, someone definitely needs to release Celeste physically. That game looks beautiful.

I missed a Vita copy of 99 Vidas on the first batch so grabbed a PS4 copy, then snagged a Vita copy on the 2nd batch. I guess when they get here in 3 months I'll pass one of them along, don't see myself keeping both.

I opted to stick with only US Physical Releases. If it is US, then I am all over it. Just shit is way too expensive to keep up with it all now. The only foreign games I have are a copy of Dead or Alive Extreme on the Vita and PS4 lol

So it's still a mystery for February yeah? Any guesstimate how many games this month?

I'm finally in a position to be debt free again and I'm really toeing the line and kinda excited to be over this xmas debt haha.

They said soon. Likely this week.

Maybe 4 if we return to 2 releases every 2 weeks

Nothing this week right?

Any ideas about next week?

Hopefully the next few weeks are dead or are games I'm not interested in as I have a few Switch games coming out to pay for (DQ Builders, Wonderboy, & Bayonetta 1&2).   Then I have a break before Yakuza 6 in mid March.

I bought Celeste digitally, but would absolutely double dip for a physical copy on Switch.

I received confirmation that my leftover order from New Year's just shipped. If anyone is looking for a copy of Runner 2 on Vita, let me know. I'm only keeping the white cover variant, so I have two regular cover variants I'm looking to get rid of as I don't need three copies of the same game.

Hmm, looking at the Strictly Limited Games site (https://www.strictlylimitedgames.com/), it seems that you can still purchase 99 Vidas (PS4 Standard) and Tokyo 42 on it. I love LRG, but I wonder if they're attracting a lot of hate because of the brand recognition rather than purchasing. Heck, SLG's second release was limited to 999 copies, and I haven't heard of any dissent on that end.

Edit: Oh, and PS4 blind box shipped out, super excited for it!

If you check your shipping number does it still say Pre-Shipment on USPS? I got my tracking number on the 28th... and it still says it's in pre-shipping so it will still be a bit at this rate

Caution to anyone selling obscure limited run releases, the below buyer is buying Limited Run games on ebay, and then filing false reports on paypal (unauthorized buyer BS) and stealing games. I'd suggest you block this buyer !

Damn.. that sucks. I had someone on CAG steal from me once. I posted his information just like this and he came crawling back begging me to take it down. We worked something out after that...

One thing is to make sure you are absolutely positive that this is the culprit before posting though. If someone did truly have a compromised account, and it does happen a lot, then they might be an innocent victim. Can you post how you found out their info?

Also, not sure if you were the one scammed, but did you try calling that number and talking to them?

If it was compromised account and the seller shipped to the eBay provided address the seller will get to keep the money. The buyer's account will get refunded also. The one stealing the account will get the game and eventually charges against them. PayPal forwards this activity to cyber crimes division, and using the USPS to commit fraud is a felony.

If the seller changed the address at the buyers request, as much as it suck this should be a lesson for them.

Factotum-90 has the reversible cover art. There are 1500 copies with one cover facing out and 500 with the other facing out. The 500 copy cover “variant” (facing out) is only available in a bundle with the soundtrack.

They will also be putting up more Sky Force Anniversary. They supposedly had a lot of cancelled orders for abusing limits.

Edit: After the backlash for putting the reversed cover behind a “soundtrack pay wall”, you can get both cover variants by ordering two copies. To make up for it, they are offering extra crap in the soundtrack bundle.

Be aware of what Home is.  It's basically a walking simulator with some very basic adventure elements.  It probably even could be considered more of a visual novel, but you do have some interactivity.   Think the most basic point and click type adventure game, except your conversations are with yourself and the few interactive things highlight with a nice white border when you walk near them.  If you check everything you find twice and explore every area before exiting places, it's a super easy game.   I finished it (the original iOS version) while sitting in a waiting room while a family member was seeing a doctor.   It's not a long game, maybe an hour or so.  It's not really a horror.  I found the story pretty depressing and the experience not something I'd want to repeat despite my love for the pixel graphics.  I'm sure changing a few of the choices might make it more enjoyable but the story reminded me a lot of Actual Sunlight except that dealt more with depression and suicide while this goes down a similar yet different path.  I also have no intention of replaying Actual Sunlight.

For collectors this won't mater.  But don't be fooled into thinking this is some kind of action horror game with pixels.
