Respawn Entertainment has announced that it will launch a website tonight where gamers can sign up for a chance to get into the upcoming Titanfall beta test. The site will go live at 6 p.m. Pacific (9 p.m. Eastern), and Respawn will reveal the URL at that time.

Eastern: 9pm
Central: 8pm
Western: 6pm

It takes forever to update. Ive had it downloaded and trying to open for over 30 minutes now

I took the liberty of fixing it (it was a hilarious typo none the less!), and I am hoping it's an XBL sub that is required, and not a Warface specific sub. I figured though with all the Warface talk, it was noteworthy enough to plop in here just in case it is the worst case scenario.

I just downloaded it and it did the whole in game download in less than 10min. Maybe the servers were busy when you downloaded it.

It looks like they fixed some problems the beta had but I still find the game incredibly boring.
 
Major Nelson announced a free XBL Gold weekend for the 360 in US and Canada this weekend.  No mention of the Xbox One.  Just a reminder, it provides access to online multiplayer and entertainment apps, but does not make sales / Games with Gold available.

We have no grounds to complain freebies.

People giving the Maw, Ms. Splosion Man and Aqua for free on the other thread, and I do not call that "suck" as I already have them.

This is a promotion for those silver members, not for current Gold members.

And this is a free offer with no charges.

I hate seeing there's a new post, coming on this thread to read something posted three times (GWG anyone?) Or people just talking about the stuff. It's about 20 bad posts for every one good post. I guess I'm another irrelevant post now, but it just pissed me off this time.

 
New game Strider can be got for FREE on Xbox One if you compare games with someone that has it on their achievements and press 'Play Game' in the top left corner after you pressed on Strider from comparing games :)

Seems that the free gold weekend is sponsored by Old Spice and, if you select their dashboard ad, there's a free "janitor costume" to download for your avatar.
