That's why people always have to read descriptions. I've learned my fault the hard way from that.

 
Magic the Gathering 2015 Expansion 1 is free to those who purchased the game early on. Option for free purchase is ingame. Others have mentioned the dlc being free in other countries but ymmv.

Heard some people have gotten a notice from Xbox Video informing them of issues with the service.

As a token of apologizing, the people getting the email got $6 on their Xbox LIVE account.

Check your emails. I did not get one but maybe you did.

I actually got a message like that a month or so ago, and the credit showed up in my account. I just got the same Xbox live message a couple days ago, but the credit hasn't shown up yet. I'm wondering if the second message was a mistake...
 
The Mobil 1 ad is now in The Grid, in case you couldn't find that ad on the dashboard. There's a free avatar racing suit.

Also, there is a Mountain Dew Code Red DEWmand Bicycle Avatar Prop available via an ad on the Canadian dashboard. Unfortunately it is region-locked. So no go for the "two controller trick" in the US.

It's new and yes in the US Xbox 360 dashboard. sunset overdrive turtle beach advert.

update - weird that they look the same but it would have said "download again", right?

It is the same prop. Nothing changed except they put it as a new one. Kind of reminds me of that joke in Tron Legacy....when they ask what is different about the new version.

 
Have a disc copy of Defiance but I'm trying to download the newly free game so I can give my disc to a friend (who doesn't wanna take the 5 gb cap hit to play the game).  Anyone having trouble downloading the game?  I'm getting "Can't Download Defiance" error message.

Thanks for the link. Pretty good documentary. Informative. I didn't even know the E.T. game was created in 5 weeks. That seems insane. Everyone should watch it if you get a chance.

I never owned an Atari system. My first game system was a Coleco Gemini. But I guess you could play Atari games on it.

My best memories of video games as a kid were probably with the good ol' NES. :)

Beginning Saturday, November 22nd at 12.01 Eastern Time, Xbox Live Gold members on Xbox One will get to play Sunset Overdrive for free for 24 hours. This is the full game; players will earn achievements and be able to save how far they progress during that 24 hour span. If you decide to purchase the game at a later point, you will be able to start again right where you left off.

Sunset Overdrive’s 8-player cooperative multiplayer experience, Chaos Squad, will also be available for everyone tomorrow. Please note: Chaos Squad must be unlocked by playing a certain amount into the campaign.

After the weekend, the Insomniac Games All-Star team will showcase several new weapons that will be available soon. Tune into the Xbox Twitch channel on Monday, Nov. 24 at 10 a.m. Pacific Time to see what’s on the way.

How do I link my console to my Trion Worlds account?

You can link your console to your Trion Worlds account using the following steps:

  1. Start up Defiance and log in with one of your characters.
  2. Press 'Start' then hold down LT or L2 and select 'Settings'.
  3. Then select the menu for 'Link Account' to find your 15 digit code.
  4. Now on your PC or mobile device log in to this site: here.
  5. Enter in your 15 digit console code to link your account.
  6. You will know your account is linked because it will drop down a linked box with either Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3.
If the link above gives you an error you can use this link to also link your account: here Note: Your Link Account code will refresh every 24 hours. (hope this works out for you)

My best memories of video games as a kid were with the good ol' SNES, PS1, N64, PS2, Gamecube and Gameboy Color/Advance. I'm sorry, I can't just pick one. :p
