List of late gen PS2 games that might be rare.

There have been so many questions asked about this that I decided to make a list. Its not complete so add things and I'll edit them into this post.

Will probably be rare:
Raiden III
Persona 3/fes
Heavenly Guardian
Red Star
Taito Legends 2

I picked up the Red Star from a friend a while back. Hopefully it will go for a good bit of money in a couple of years.

Very speculative. Games are not the stock market, though it is nice to have some people chime in on the topic. It's a lot easier to pick up some of these games now while they are cheap than later if they get expensive.

I completely disagree on Red Star and Taito Legends 2. I have seen multiple copies in nearly every electronics section in town.

I would add Chaos Wars. The trick now is to look for games with short print runs. If you can find offshoot games from established franchises that meet this criteria, then all the better.

I have a sealed copy and am deciding whether or not to open it.

also rare and expensive are not the same thing. Dual Hearts has the lowest print of any Atlus game but a sealed copy cost about $30ish. A lot of games have limited release but their value didnt go up.

Castle Shikigami 2 possibly, but I did once see a discount DVD store with tons of them.

I wonder what the print run is on Heavenly Guardian. However, the Wii version probably will prevent this game from ever becoming in demand. Reviewers are also savaging it, which I think is unjustified.

I understand that Wizardry is extremely rare, and I certainly had a hard time finding one, though it isn't late-gen and may never be in demand because it's a dead genre.

Xenosaga 3. I think this series will age well and people will wake up to what they missed - esp since it looks like that's it for the series for the foreseeable future.

Metal Slug Anthology could be rare. Well it is fun to play anyways.
