trying to remember more... but if you're at best buy... jot them down and peer over the clipboard of the game sales clerk to see what i'm talkin bout!

Happy Hunting!

My Best Buy has barely any games anyway... I really wanted I-Ninja and Freedom Fighters, but, hey, nothing was there.

Damn, between alfonsosoriano, lizard axe, waxhead, cruzincontrol, shadylane, manimal and I there is some real competition for cheap ass games here in CT :)
Don't forget me and Mafia.
don't bother going to the Norwalk, CT store, they don't have much left. there were lots of $5 games, but pretty much had only one copy of each, so I picked up most of those.

I doubt we'll be going up that far anyways, but thanks for the notice. If you are looking for certain games in the area maybe we can give a hand to certain CT CAG. I'll be looking for every single title except for sports games, with the exceptions of NFL Hitz Pro and ESPN Football.

*thread merged*

This might help some people out..post how many $5 games were at each store and the city of the best buy you purchased them at.

Mesquite Texas- Twisted Metal Black, Haven, and Goblin Commander
Denton Texas- Didn't have nothing
Mckinney Texas- Didn't have nothing
Dallas Texas- Didn't have nothing
PLano Texas- has Auto MOdellista, Voodo Vince and Hulk. The only thing remaining though is Hulk.
Dunenville Texas has XGRA and Final Fantasy Orgins (I know they had more got this info from a friend)

Many people are compaining they are driving around for nothing this thread may help hopefully.

god damn someone drove all over looking for some cheap ass deals. The one on Glenwood in raleigh had nothing. The one on capital had Red Faction II for Xbox, Alien vs. Predator and Indiana Jones

You forgot one I saw at the Mesquite location.

I also noticed Clock Tower 3 at the Mesquite location: I have yet to try other stores, but perhaps I will soon.

i sure as FUK hope there are no CAGs in Columbia, SC, because i couldn't go today since i had work. i know quite a few of those games are at one of the two BBs here.

BB in Pasadena, CA is out of all the good stuff. I did p/u a copy of Roadkill (xbox). They still had one more and a copy of Voodoo Vince. I also found out that Wakeboarding Unleashed is $5. If your local BB has one, let me know If anyone can grab me a copy and I will compensate you for your trouble. Thanks.

Forgive me if these have already been mentioned, there is just too much to keep up with, and I didn't see them in the first post of the thread:

$4.99 unless otherwise indicated. Some may have been previous drops.

GBA:
The Lost Vikings
Fifa Soccer 2004
Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 $0.99
Stuart Little 2 $0.99

Xbox:
State of Emergency
Great Escape
Blood Wake
Batman: Rise of Sin Tzu $0.99
The Lord of The Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring

PS2:
Rygar: The Legendary Adventure

Tallahassee FL
All I saw after I got my two titles was....
1 copy of Auto Modellista left
plenty Legend of Legaia 2
NHL 2k3 or something like that; plenty of those
1 copy of Disney Skate for Xbox
2 copy of MK for GBA
1 copy of Backyard Hockey for GBA

somebody bought the RPG Maker 2 before I got there :(

Pasadena, CA BB
1 Voodoo Vince ( Xbox)
1 Roadkill ( Xbox )
That is all!
Nothing at Los Feliz or Burbank. On Wednesday I'll head up towards Ventura so I'll pass through four BB's along the way.

Was that all at the Pasadena BB?
I was gonna check it out tonight but nevermind.

Nothing in Santa Clara, CA. Was told one person bought every single game (one of the workers tried to get his manager to implement "1 copy of each game limit" to stop this guy but it didn't work). I found a couple games that where in odd places but I scoured everywhere and they were the last.

Has anyone been to the Arlington, TX store? That is the only one I can get to, and I just got home from work and saw all of this. Did this happen sometime today, out of the blue? I can't believe I had to work when arguably the best deal this site has ever seen was posted.

Wario World was $29.99 in 2 Southern California Best Buy stores.
so cock punch them and tell them to mark it down
I confused Wario World with Wario Ware Inc. Mega Party Game$. So the price of Wario World is most likely $4.99, but they didn't have it.

Dude that is the gayest thing I have ever heard. One guys bought up all the games? multiple copies of everything? That is fucking sick

Yeah that is gay, i was one of the first few people in my BB and i only bought 4 games out a possible 20+ I had a couple hundred dollars in my wallet, i could have easily cleared them out... but who wants to ruin the sale for everyone. Still, first come first serve.

Now that is just fucked up, probably all listed on ebay right this minute.

I'm looking for Wario World and Wario Ware GBA, if anyone found these I'll pay for the games, S&H, etc. just PM me and we'll work something out.

The only game I could find here (In Mesquite), was Clock Tower 3. :?

I mean, it's probably an awesome game, but I wanted a lot more than that, I am just really not interested in it.

I had nothing else to do, so I scoured the threads and such and made a super-ultra-mega updated list. Enjoy:

Forgive me if this has already been answered (and it probably was) but does anyone know if some stores will get new shipments of $5 games (the ones in the Best Buy warehouse) for the next few weeks?

Anyone in Columbus OH check their BB's yet? I'm going to try to get to the Tuttle Crossing one at lunch today, but don't know if I really expect to find much. :(

Well, I planned on going this weekend. They had FFO there for $5 when I changed my original order for in-store pickup.

Okay, answer me this question anyone. My BB has a couple of those titles listed, but they are not marked down to the $4.99 price. Are the prices adjusted at the register? If I walk up to them with Batman: Rise of Sin Tzu listed for 19.99 will it ring at 4.99?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

They had it in Wichita Falls, Tx. But nowhere near what everyone said it was. They had about six or seven Xbox games for $5, and one or two PS2 and GCN games.

By the time I got there, everything had been pretty much picked through. I was hoping to snag a copy of Metal Arms, but they were sold outta them too.

I managed to pick up The Great Escape for $5. I was actually suprised by how fun this game is. It's a nice change of pace from my normal games, so I'm happy.

The BB I went to had everything marked, and I believe everyone else's had it the same way. You could always get them to scan it. If they don't come up at that price, I'd get them to call another Best Buy and see if they'll price match another store.

Maybe that could work for you.

Hey, thanks. I'll do that!

My Best Buy doesn't have the right prices on anything. They did have Everquest Online Adventures for $4.99 though. I'll have to get them to scan a bunch of games today.

Bah, went to my two local Long Island BB locations and came back empty handed. The ONLY one I saw was Sphinx; every other title listed here was MIA. This was at the Best Buy in Garden City on Old Country Road, and one in Levittown on Hempstead Tpke.

I should be glad I got in on a couple of the online deals, though!

If you're in the southern New England area you can pretty much forget it. The Warwick RI and North Attleboro MA locations had -- get ready -- MARY KATE & ASHLEY (GC) and BATTLE BOTS (GBA) for $4.99 and that's it. They didn't even have the prices wrong, since most of the sale titles simply weren't there to begin with. Oh well!
