Little Big Planet 2 Collectors Edition Free Shipping $59.99 @ Newegg

I bought this on impulse a couple weeks back for the same price and have mixed feelings about whether the bonus content was worth it. The Sackboy doll is of very high quality, but it's pretty tiny. The bookends feel extremely cheap, like they're made out of balsa wood and cardboard or something. Then there's the in game content, which is basically just a bunch of costumes, some of which are neat I guess, but there's already a lot of costume options in the game. For carrying an original price of $99.99, this is questionable at best. The saving grace for me was the fact that the base game still goes for $50-60, so for the same price I was able to get a bunch of extra stuff. Still, if I could do it over again, I'd probably just wait until the base game drops to the 30 dollar range.

1. MSRP was $79.99 not $99.99

2. This is sold out at a lot of major retailers and is very hard to find. If it drops further in price it's going to be a "right place, right time" ordeal and will be very hard to replicate.
