Yeah can someone elaborate on this, when I heard this I figured it was the standard edition that was going GH... if this isn't the case then this isn't really much of a deal.
 
Went by the local store tonight and they had all the titles nicely lined up all next to each other with the original prices on them, so come Friday they'll mark the new prices, and off they go.

Still gonna wait on LBP: GOTY to come to the sub-$30 range in a few months as it will, I'm in no rush. ;)
 
It's GOTY, the GOTY edition replaced the original edition. It even has the same item code. Why would Sony release a defunct version that they already phased out onto GH? Besides, we got visual proof:

Ya honestly didn't think it was that great, pretty laggy when I played and often issues getting friends in the same lobby/game. Any better now? Any patches or did maybe the GOTY ed. fix that?

It was sold out at 7pm PDT. Right now its 10:30pm PDT and LBP is back in stock at walmart.com. So if your still wanting it, now is the time. Thanks for the post!

I'll try to PM with best buy with the TRU B1G1 50% off on Friday...$45 for LBP and KZ2 :). I really got to stop buying games...Why are all the good price drops happening all at once :(.
 
Wonder what the trade in value of LBP (non goty) is at gamestop... looks like I'll have to do it tomorrow before getting hit with a big price cut.
