Okay, this may be a little long, but here goes....
On 10-13 I got the 1 month for $1 offer for Gold. Used my Paypal and it remained linked. I can't take it off even though I have turned off the auto-renew. Well on 10-20 my 2 year old was playing Nicktoons MLB under my name (the only account on the Xbox at the time). I was upstairs and my wife was washing dishes. When I came down the Xbox was off and he was playing in the floor.
Later I get an email confirmation from Paypal for a $49.99 charge! What???? He managed to exit the game. He then proceeded to try and change my gamertag. We didnt have points. He was able to add points and bought the $50 4000 points bundle! Then sucessfully changed my gamertag to a MS Generated one (SurficialDrop I believe it was, WTF??) Well I call MS to try and have it reversed. Since he spent points they cannot do anything about it. And I would have to pay another 800 points to change my name back. Again, WTF... After talking with the guy for a while I just bit the bullet and accepted that we now have $50 less than we should have.
Well, we have points now! So we buy some games. Then I buy a map pack and we have around 250 point left. On 10-24 I get an email from Paypal saying the charge was denied because he had used the bank account that has been closed for a year now that is still on paypal. Oh crap, now what? Well I havent heard anything from MS, but then on 10-27 they take back the unused 250 points...Hmmm, still no contact from them, should I be worried?
Then I have a 3 month Live card to use, but I am concerned that they will nullify that too if I try and use it.
Any advice? Other than pay the money? haha. I fully expect that I will end up having to pay the $50 back at some point, just don't know when as they have not contacted me about it.
