Those earbuds are insolating ones which make them amazing. I previously owned a pair and they were great until they broke. Isolating earbuds are much better than standard earbuds like the ipod ones. Once you use a pair of isolating earbuds, you don't go back to the standard kind.

On a different note...

The Zune earphones look an awful lot like Sennheiser CX-300s to me. Anyone know how they compare?
I didn't really like that set of Sennheisers much but they would be a gift for the girlfriend. I have a set of Etymotic ER-4Ps.

Now I'm almost certain that they are re-marked Sennheisers. Were the wires as thin as dental floss?

That must be the earphones that came with zune, but there not the same as premium earphone.

its not like any sennheisers that I know of. the wires are actually nylon that kinda rubs and makes a noise in your ear similar to rubbing corduroy.

I saw the cloth wrap. That may be an attempt to beef up the crappy wires they put in the CX300s.

Are the wires symmetrical or asymmetrical? The CX300s are asymmetrical.

You can buy as many as you want....Just NEVER have more than one of the same item sent to the same address.

A note on this...

It's highly unlikely with plugs like the Zune's. There are basically three different approaches.

1) Regular iPod style. The rest on your outer ear. They don't isolate crap. They are unlikely to irritate other than the feeling that they are always about to fall off.

2) Zune/Sennheiser CX300 plugs. They plug your outer ear canal giving some isolation. They can really only be uncomfortable if you are using a plug size that's way too large. They don't insert into the ear canal and shouldn't really stretch the opening. They just fill the space.

3) Real inner ear monitors. These annoy the hell out of anyone with sensitive ears. They seal like you wouldn't believ though. Here's a pic of the plugs and some idea of what they might look like when worn,

If you cut the inner two pieces and the sound port off, you roughly have the same thing as the Zune plugs. They don't sit that deep in the ear.

I just ordered a Zune & the Ear Buds even though I already have both. Just for backup I guess.

Also I had a theory about LSC/Arvato USA shipping practices. I assume that ArvatoUSA has a huge warehouse facility where they prepare our packaged for shipping and they have multiple clients and not just LSC. So maybe they dedicate a certain amount of time for some accounts, for example a two month window for LSC and then another two month window for company X. Or they fell behind because they have another client that has a contest that just ended and the prizes need to be sent out right now and that is their first priority for the time being. Like the Subway contest that ended a while ago with the basket ball theme, I won a $5 Subway card on 4/4 and I received it on 5/7 and the company who fulfilled the orders for that contest was Prize Logic. Does this make any sense at all?
 
Question for those with multiple accounts: have you mixed your purchases/addresses on the accounts, or only ship to 1 address from 1 account. Just wondering if it's a problem for me to do that.

Also, does anyone have an idea on the brand/quality of those portable hard drives? I was actually thinking of buying one before this showed up.
 
no one knows the have no name attached to the harddrives and its fine i order stuff over 6 accounts to the same address they dont care aslong as u order only one of each item

For those wondering about ordering the same items that they ordered before the new rules -- I ordered a 360 when it was 32,500 tickets last year and ordered another that I received a month or so ago.

Also, with multiple accounts, I just use a single address to ship all items to.

For those of you thinking of ordering this for resell dont bother, Ultimate is doing pretty bad as it is, and also Windows 7 is coming out soon. The only reason I would get this is for backup.

Yeah Vista Home Premium's going under 100 on ebay, Ultimate 150-190 or so, and only 8k more tickets.

The full retail version of Home Premium is going for about $110, which I see as comparable to the $/ticket ratio of Vista Ultimate.

28000/20000 = 1.4
$160.00/$110.00 = 1.45

Keep in mind there are a lot of OEM and upgrade versions on eBay At the moment as well. What you get from LSC is full retail.

I don't think so. The black controller is now gone from the site, so I hope you get the one you ordered. Your best bet is to ask the new tenants to give you a call when it shows up.

I'm also moving in a couple of months so from this point on anything I order is going to my parents.
 
Anybody notice the massive increase in people playing. Usually there are 100 people playing each game with the max being 300 for the anagram games, but now they are at 2,400 and 3,800!! Why 3800 people are playing seekadoo is beyond me since it takes a long time and it only yields 15 tickets a piece.
 
Hopefully those earbuds will be up there for the next 5 days, I've been waiting for them to put them up. I haven't played for like 3 weeks so I'm still at 700 tickets. lol

For the moving questions, customer service told me that if a package is deemed undeliverable by UPS, it is sent back and points are refunded. However, most likely it'll just be delivered to a neighbor or something. In my case, I wasn't home yesterday and UPS arrived, but the package was left at the leasing office. Just make arrangements beforehand.

As for the raffle system, it's just like it sounds. Instead of getting points for guaranteed products, you use points to enter raffles for products. It was mentioned in a user survey that popped up on some accounts.
 
in the long run saves ms tons of money on prizes and kinda stops the botters from taking advantage i hope it does not happen i like knowing im getting sumthing

rly? My friend BIN'ed mine on ebay like Friday and got $120 (free shipping) within an hour or two. Outside of controllers, I'd imagine this is still a solid resale item.
 
I read through a few pages but didn't see anything, (and with over 110 I wasn't about to do the entire thread), how many of you earn points 100% legit, how many just use the anagram help page? I had a lot of pop-ups clearly checking to see if I was a bot while on earlier, so I'm just curious.
