Ordered it on 4-28-09, received it via MAIL and received absolutely NO email confirmation. Also, let me say this is one of if not the BEST prizes I have received so far. Its VERY high quality and probally something that will come in very handy. I am VERY tempted to order another one :) If anyone out there is even slightly thinking about getting this, don't even think about it....JUST GET IT.

i have a question about the tool kit. i put one of the screwdriver heads on and i cant get it off!..is there a button i push or something?
 
JW how many electronic prizes can I order? I know its 1 item per address but is the 3 different electronic items thing still in effect cause I can't find it anywhere on their site.
 
One of each prize(electronic or otherwise) per address is the current rule.

it can't be flagged becuse i ordered a black controller on 3/27/09 and i already got it. i also sent them a message through that thing on the website and the only thing they wrote back is the same BS that is written on the website. this is pretty much what the email said: "As stated in our Terms and Conditions, please allow for up to 12 weeks for delivery of any prize orders, unless your prize item is back ordered, in limited quantity, out of stock or the site states otherwise."
 
man i think my forza 2 is finally coming next week......already been 9 weeks.....and i'm still waiting on my habu mouse too......others have recieved yet mine hasn't arrived, lol

I ordered it on 2/24/09. When I emailed them about it a few days ago, they said it was on backorder. I didn't even want it anymore, so I just asked if I could have a refund, which, surprisingly, they gave me yesterday.
 
Got Scene It 2 yesterday which I ordered on 5/2. I assumed I was supposed to sign for it but it just happen to be outside my front door. I was playing it with 4 people last night and it's a blast, highly recommended.

Haha same, I think my UPS guy is just lazy. I've received two items (the only 2 I've gotten so far) that require signatures and he didn't bother to ask for it. I wasn't at home to sign for it anyways, so it all works out.
 
Got my copy of Gears yesterday. I assume it came USPS, bubble envelope was in between my front and screen doors.
 
The way to tell if a package was shipped via UPS & USPS is by the label. UPS packages have a bunch of bar codes in the top left, and the USPS packages don't have as many bar codes (no tracking number either) so there's an empty space inthe left side of the label.

Gears Of War and all the other Xbox 360 games are shipped via UPS.

Another way to tell (sounds silly....but..) it'll say "USPS" on the label!

also: just got a 360 controller for windows, ordered 5/4

Huh. Well, thanks for the heads up. I didn't see anything specifically labeled one way or another, so I wrongly assumed.
 
I just got Gears of War, Too Human, Lost Odyssey, and Scene It 2 today from ups. Ordered them all on 5/1 and 5/3. No confirmation emails for anything. It all just arrived at once. Oh, and it's all still labeled as "live search club".
 
just got scene it ordered 5/3 cant believe it includes 4 scene it controllers thats pretty cool. i played it for a bit and sucked pretty badly. the only part i did well on was when they showed the 40 year old virgin clip. :D
 
Just got Lost Odyesey. That's two prizes today. It came by UPS and I had to sign for it. Strange how the tool set (a bigger package) is sent by USPS but the a 360 game (smaller obviously) is sent using UPS with signature. And the 4th disc of LO being in a white envelope does suck. The envelope is already beaten up because of the tight squeeze. What a shitty way of packaging a game. Upon opening the game, I thought it was a demo or something.

It's pretty straight forward. Did you read the instructions? Just plug in the receiver, put the batteries in the controller (if they aren't already) and push buttons. Ta-da!

i ordered an xbox 360 at 4/7 my xbox prob got backordered and might get a refund on my tickets

First, in response to a message I saw someone write: My 360 controller works just fine. All I did was plug it in a USB port, waited for it to say "Software installed and ready to use", and then turned on my controller.

Do you have Vista? If you don't, I think you have to find some special drivers for Windows XP to get the controller to work. If you do (such as I did), compatibility is built-in.


As for my other news, I'm now working up essentially a 0 ticket balance to get an Intellimouse Explorer. My Logitech MX518 doesn't work very well anymore... True to the spirit of a cheap-ass gamer, rather than go burn the money on a new mouse, I'll settle for using my touchpad for now, get the Intellimouse (only four days till order -- 4000 tickets is pretty cheap for a new mouse), and wait. Unless something drastic comes up and I get another mouse anyway, in which case I'll sell the Explorer on Ebay or something. Only unfortunate thing is that I can't play most of my games, now (Incompatible FPSs and RTSs). Matter of fact, with that thought, I probably will end up getting another mouse this weekend anyway. Whatever.

Also: does anyone else find it kind of wrong that Flexicon has clues like "Water, to Juan"? Doesn't that seem a bit... I don't know, prejudiced?

You can just use their customer service form. The link can conveniently be found in the help section. I usually get a response in like 2 days or less.

Also, has the Zune ever disappeared? I just started working towards one and would hate it if it went away before mid-July.

mine didn't work at first because i put the batteries in the wrong way.. :) maybe check that?

The timer's really nice (black). Its a quality item (KitchenAid is good) and its big. Best part, mine came with the LSC label on an outer cardboard sleeve, not on the timer package itself. Saved me a big headache. There is no LSC logo printed on the timer.
 
Received a copy of Too Human by UPS today that I ordered on May 6th. Game came in a small light brown bubble wrap envelope along with a small note that had "Live Search Club" printed on it. No shipping conformation was sent to me. The game came in really good condition (no dents, scratches, stickers, etc.--looks like it came straight from a store shelf). I hope I don't get Lost Odyssey in a beat up case like some of you got in the mail.

I wanted to post a picture of the game, but the camera on my cell phone sucks. :cry:
 
Has anybody gotten the ogio bag? Is it worth getting?

I can order it tomorrow night if I wanted, but pushing for GOW is tempting.
