My 360/Windows controller came today. :) Ordered it May 15th.
So has anyone used it with their PC? Does it work good? I'm thinking of keeping it for playing old school games on emulators.

Again no sticker on the item, which is great. I hope they keep it that way stickers are annoying and they actually save money buy not using them. Has anyone been getting shipping emails? I wonder if those are going to be cut from now on.
Still only partially true...

The site is all mine... Domain, hosting, data crunching... I just happened to own that domain (long story), and figured it was the best fit from the list. It's not like I went out and purchased the domain, hosting, or any other out-of-pocked stuff. Just used what I happened to have handy... :whistle2:#

True, the concept was inspired by others... But ever since the site went up, there has not been any third party involved.

Technically, I am a member of CAG, and many, many other forums... But, my site is not affiliated with CAG, or any other forum for that matter... ;)
Cool, Thanks for putting together such a helpful resource.

Finally! The tracking website just updated and there's two packages headed to my little farm town. I WONDER WHO THEY COULD BE FOR?!

:)

I ordered Tales of Beedle the Bard 4/4 and haven't received it. I haven't received anything I ordered after that either though. I don't cheat or anything, so I'm assuming it's just the usual BS.

Thanks for the post, just checked my area as well and looks like my windows controller is coming :) time to finally play some old school games on my PC. :)
yep waiting on Everlast Resistance Bands from 4/28 and a Controller from 5/1
I ordered the Bands on 5/1 and got them on 6/15 through USPS to NYC. Maybe you'll get yours here some day soon. I havent received my Scene It from 5/1 and my Zune order from mid-April is probably never gonna get here.

Yay! Got a prize today... Oddly enough, no branding... I expected to find LSC on them?

Ordered 5/15, shipped 6/15 via UPS @ 0.10 lb

Sweet, gratz. :) Always good to get the little things that keep you coming back for more on the big items.

I got two Windows Controllers last week, but I fear they are not going to send me the Zune I ordered 4/4... Guess I should stop hoping for that one.

Here's a picture of the pens I ordered on 5/14. I got them on yesterday via UPS.
ordered on same account?
No, unfortunately they were on different accounts. I track for A friend, My Wife, and myself, so we have about 8 accounts between the three of us, but we rarely get to the third each day. My wife got her Zune, but it doesn't look like I'll be getting mine. I'll email again at the 12 week mark, maybe they'll give it to me after they find out that I don't cheat. I think the thing that makes them think I'm a botter is that I ordered something to another address. I knew the black controllers were gonna be short term, so I sent on to the friend I've been tracking since he was ordering an Xbox around that time.

Well, looks like that controller cost me my Zune. :whistle2:( I had hoped the rumors I had heard about shipping to multiple addresses with one account would be OK.

no i have seen a lot of people posting missing orders that went out around the beginning of april and they have not been sent out. something happened during that time. hopefully they figure out what happened and correct the problem.

What I've received so far this month:

Item - date ordered - date received
Xbox controller for windows - 5/2 - 6/8
Xbox controller black - 5/5 - 6/12
Vista Ultimate - 5/5 - 6/15
Xbox controller white - 5/5/ - 6/16

MIA: Everlast bands, ordered 5/5

Heres a list of everything (I think) I've gotten through CL/B

Deck of Cards
Digital Picture Frame
Vista
360 Controllers X 2
MS Flight Sim X
Zoo Tycoon 2
Ogino Bag
Coleman Camping Chair
Flashlight
1 Gb Thumb Drive X 2
Tales of the Beatle Bard X 2
Yoga Mat
Too Human
Swiss Army Binoculars

I was going to stick it in my sig, but apparently my account's just a bit too young.

Hopefully they put the headsets back up sometime. The one I got from them like, a year ago is dying pretty badly right now. It started maybe two months ago. A whole lot of random static. Then the sound would cut in and out. Now the right side is completely dead and the left side is garbled. The mic stopped working months ago. Oh well, it was great while it lasted.

I wish they would add some of the old prizes back. The old prizes and their ticket redemption values were much better than they are today. If you weren't playing LSC in 2007, you really missed out on some great stuff.

I saw on another site that they had a GPS and a Camcorder...don't get me wrong free 360 games are great but sure as hell aren't a GPS. Please come back

Damn I wanted that Canon camera that was up for 40,000 too. Why the hell didn't i find out about LSC earlier. Maybe they'll re-add it or put up another one sometime.
and what site was that?
Club live. It used to have GPS and alot of other cool things. I got the FULL Rock Band kit for only 25,000 tickets and still play it ALOT

Yay, Lost Odessy came today. Everything was on schedule. That's pretty crazy having the 4th disc in a paper sleeve like that. My sleeve was smashed but the disc looks fine. Thinking of going for one of the racing games which is the best out of the two?
Here's a picture of the pens I ordered on 5/14. I got them on yesterday via UPS.

Hey those pens look pretty nice. I didn't order them because I wasn't sure if they'd be worth it.

yea I got RockBand 1 back then too too bad I took a year off back in the day after I ordered a few of my prizes I could've seriously gotten some really cool prizes on the fly especially before the 1 prize per address rule X_X

Forza 2 is by far the better of the two, and one of the better games of the 360. The customization options alone are worth getting the game, go on youtube and watch some of the Forza 2 car customizing, sooooo many options.

Is autotype legal? I always thought that since you're still searching, it doesn't really matter. And if it's not, are they cracking down on it harder and how do you get found out?

I have a question about the 360.. Since they send out refurbs, when i get it will it still be covered by the RROD for 3 years like buying a new system or is that completely out of the picture?

From what I have heard/read (so, not sure if it is actually fact), the refurbs are from 2006 and thus are no longer covered by the RRoD warrantee extension.

In any case, you are better off getting Vista and the two controllers, reselling it, and using that towards a new console. You will have a much better box, a warranty, and probably a bigger HDD.

That's what i was trying to figure out.. if i should even waste my time when i know it's not really a new console and who knows if i get a RROD a month after i get it then im screwed.. But is that such a good idea with windows 7 coming out soon? All i really need is probably around 200$ resale value and i'm happy.

Vista Ultimate will get you between $150 and $200 on eBay depending on your feedback. Sell off one or both of the LSC/CB controllers, and that should put you over the $200 mark for sure.

Obviously if you are close to 55k, and if you can ship to another address (friend, relative, neighbor), then getting 2 Vistas is the way to go for the additional thousand tickets... ;)

Not there yet, only 16k but ill be sure to do that since i was planning to do that in the first place anyways.. But when i thought about it the xbox straight without all the hassle is the best way. However, now that i know it's basically not covered by the RROD i'll try to get 2 vistas.

hey i'm new here and kind of new to club live now clubbing. I've already received 2 prizes both came in right around a months time. I was reading through this forum and saw people talking about the xbox that they are refurbished and about something RROD. I never cared about getting an xbox but since it's free on CB then i figured why not take it. What is RROD? I have about 30 days until i can redeem for an xbox. I have my prizes sent to my work under my account and my wife has her prizes sent to our house. I'm still waiting on a couple of prizes for her account but tomorrow will be about a month for her so she should be getting hers soon.

i really want a ps3 i wish they could come out with that, and i saw about a gps in 2007 i wish i was playing waaaay back then! i can't believe i never knew about this site!

My 360 was made in August 2006 and I haven't checked yet but I'm under the impression that the RROD warranty will last until August 2009.

The Red Ring of Death or RRoD for short is a problem the 360s have/ had. It's caused by the chip set heating up which causes the crappy solder MS used to melt and allows the motherboard to warp. Three red segments appear around the 360's ring of light. Over time they've released smaller, more heat efficient chip sets and with each release, the chances of getting the red rings have gone down. People would have to send their 360s in to MS to be repaired or replaced. Google 'red rings of death' and I'm sure you'll see thousands of complaints and pictures. Nearly all 2005 models had to be sent in. The percentage of 2006 models sent in was lower, but was still pretty high. My first one I bought was made in 2006 and they replaced it because it was beyond repair. 2007 models had an even lower percent. Now, the newest chip set, also known as the Jasper, is out and the red rings has been nearly 100% eliminated. The Jasper set has only been seen in the new Arcade version and the red Resident Evil 5 Elites. MS gives out 20 GB Pros as prizes for Club Bing.

The thing is that MS has been sending out these refurbished 2006 ones as prizes for Club Live/ Bing. They got into a lot of trouble and to avoid a lawsuit because they knew there was a problem with the 360 with the red rings before it was ever released, they extended the warranty on all models that get the red rings to three years from the purchase date. The catch now with the Club Bing prizes are that they are from 2006 so either their extended warranties are up or will be within a few months. Like just about everyone else, I recommend buying the Vistas or Office Ultimate instead and selling them to get the money for a 360. Those refurbs are not worth the hassle.
Sorry for the wall o' text, but it's the best way to explain the problem.

This sucks. I really wonder how they decide to ship things to who and when. My friend ordered a 360 in mid May and got his yesterday, and I still haven't got mine from April, and I don't cheat or anything like that. wtf!! it's only been 8 weeks so even if i email them they'll just tell me to wait.
My 360 was made in August 2006 and I haven't checked yet but I'm under the impression that the RROD warranty will last until August 2009.
True. I think one of my refurbs was a Nov 2006 box, so that one still has a few months on it for the RRoD.

However, the point is that for the same number of tickets, and some reselling, you could get a new one. Not only would you have a new console (as opposed to a refurb), a full warrantee, you would also have a 'cooler' chip-set (smaller chance of RRoD), an HDMI video out (for convenience) as well as a bigger HDD or some additional games.

From a strictly 'value' perspective, the console is way over-ticketed. Considering that it is street value of about $100, it should list at around 10,000 to 15,000 tickets. Even if you look at the retail cost (about $250 at Amazon), it should still be under 30k tickets.

If you are willing to settle for a refurb, you could get vista, resell that, buy a 'new' refurb on eBay and walk away with about $70 cash for half the tickets.

Or, you could order the two controllers, the Charge and Play Kit and Too Human (for under 15k total), resell those and get a refurb. Plus, you could do this by max'ing 4 accounts in about a week... Yep... Console for one week of anagrams... Much quicker than max'ing a single account for close to 2 months (and hoping the console is still available then -- prizes tend to come and go).

Any way you look at it, 55k tickets for a refurb is way too high...

All of my prizes have shipped 29 to 32 days after order. I don't think they pick and choose. I think they process and ship them with a 30 day target.

However, there are about usually over 500 prizes shipped UPS daily, and I have no idea how many additional prizes ship USPS. That is a lot of packages. And, a lot of 'information' that needs to be transmitted from CLS/CB to the drop-shipper. There are a couple suspected 'outage' periods (like the first week of April), where a lot of peoples orders don't seem to have shipped. My guess is that the order-data didn't make it to drop-shipper properly, and CLS/CB thinks those prizes actually shipped. Course, they won't bother to look it up until the delivery window (8-12 weeks) has passed.

As I have suggested before, if you don't get your prize in 6 weeks (30 days to ship, plus delivery time), then I would order something small (cards, golf balls, pens, etc) using that account and see if it comes. It should arrive before the 12 weeks is up on the original order, and thus you will be able to mention it in your inquiry to LSC/CB support. The fact that you received a prize AFTER your missing order means that your account was not flagged, and thus should speed things up for the person investigating your order. They can't very well claim that your account was flagged for the console, but that they forgot about it for your pens...

ok thanks for letting me know. That's alot of info! well then i guess it's not worth to redeem for an xbox and someone was saying that to get the vista and resell that on ebay but who actually buys that? seems more of a hassle to me than anything. i guess i'll go for the zune.

Not really much of a hassle. I put my Vista on eBay for $165 with a Buy It Now and free shipping. It took less than two hours for it to sell and for me to get paid. I priced it a little lower than the standard rate, because like you, I didn't want the hassle.
