Ninja Gaiden Sigma. Having a hard time killing those horse riding samurai:hot:
I stopped playing there on Ninja Gaiden on the original XBox. Never made it past that point. Which sucks, because I heard the rest of the game is awesome.

Just jump around and constantly use Flying Swallow until you get them off their horse and then kill them whichever way you choose :p
sigma, but primarily Tekken DR since I picked up a 60gb PS3 last week for $250 less than retail :)
Congrats.

I'll add you to my friends list when I get home (or you add me, whatever :p ) PSN name: mmmpepsi

We should have a "post your high score on Can Shooter from Wario Ware" thing going. That game is a lot of fun. I broke 18k today. It's not a lot, but it's my high score.

I've been playing a little Puzzle Quest lately. I've been dreaming of a 360 mainly. I think the online VF5 announcement might push me to insanity if I don't get one soon.

I've been arguing too much on forums lately, instead of playing too many games. ;)

I decided to play some Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana on PS2 today. I progressed a little further and I'm almost at the end of the game. Luckily I still remember where to go, unlike a few other RPGs I tried to play. :(

Played the new Ape Escape demo on PSP. I'm liking it the more I play it.

I probably said it before, but I definitely want a Wii now, for sure. Problem is, just trying to think how I will fit it in my budget (finding out where to make cuts).

I'm also debating whether I should buy Ninja Gaiden Sigma for $50 new. I never bought Ninja Gaiden on Xbox, due to the high difficulty (I'm more so good at music/dance, turn based games, platformers, etc.). I liked the demo, but the game is ranked 15th on my wishlist (the rest of the year). Gotta make a decision soon, since tomorrow is the last day I can get it at that price. I could pick up Crush instead, but I haven't followed it as much as I should.

Been playing GH2 every night for about 1hour for fun lol. set 7 expert just gave up because it was to hard. Other than that been getting my room ready for an addition of a ps3 and a 42" plasma come this weekend.
Starcraft: Brood War. Duh.

Got past the first round of our tournament. Fast games so far - 4 minutes, 5 minutes, and 10 minutes. Rushes have served us well.

Playing a wee bit of Godfather: Blackhand, too. On the home stretch with that one.

...

Holy fuck. Your secret identity has been revealed! YOU are the one who refused to tell me who you were on Bnet?

...

Way not to respond to my PMs, eh?

Guess you know now :p

Didn't respond for 2 reasons:

1. Cuz teh secret
2. I suck at the game

I am finally done with that Harry Potter game. I wanted to get 1000 but 730 is as good as I can do.

I think tomorrow I will get back into Oblivion.
We are playing double elimination, anyway. Plenty of room for the less-skilled. I will be happy just to make it to the semis.

Also, we will be pairing less-skilled players with the better players for the 2v2 tourney. You in for that?
Sure, it'll be fun for however long I last :)

Suikoden II~!!

once I beat that, I got 2 more rpg to beat until I can play Persona 3.

I also play Daily Play on Planet Puzzle League

Just got The Bigs for 360 and started to play it last night. Pretty fun baseball game.

I'm also starting to play Guitar Hero II.
Right now I'm playing Loco Roco, I forgot how good this game is.

Here's hoping for a sequel on the PSN!
LocoRoco on the PS3 would be friggin sweet!! Good call. Maybe I'll try to beat it when I'm on vacation and away from all my consoles later this summer.

agreed. And there was some Loco Roco paraphernalia floating around on slides at PS3 speeches, so I wouldn't doubt that it's in development.

Even though I'm playing Loco Roco, I just picked up Marvel: UA for the PSP. My room-mate swears by it, and figured online with him could be fun.

im into scarface as of now and im pretty impressed with it. ive been jumping around from game to game for a while now but ill try and finish this one and im looking to pick up bully finally since i found a few places to pick it up cheap.

I'm trying to finish DDS1 this week. with some Final Fight Streetwise on the side.

Check it:

--go up against the wall right next to the dead ninja with arrows stuck in him so you can get more arrows when necessary.
--Hold block
--Wait for the horse to try and charge you
--roll away
--as the horse goes off in the other direction, shoot bunch of arrows into its ass.

You don't need to aim, just face in the right direction. you'll be shooting them while they're off screen-- listen for a "piercing" sound...if you hear a clang, it hit the samurai's armor. it's kinda random where you hit, but most of the time the arrows hit the horse. After like 3 shots, the horse dies and the samurai comes after you. super easy with this method, though you won't always get the time bonus. if you're feeling adventurous, you can run after them and shoot arrows at em.

I guess the key here is to use the bow, not the sword.

If anyone else wants sigma tips, let me know. I love talking NG :)

I got Enchanted Arms due to not being able to resist a $20 PS3 game, but I dont know...is it worth playing or should I return it while I still can?

I also went and bought Yakuza today because I have the urge to play it. Damn Sega for not bringing the sequel over to the US :bomb:

Very nice tip indeed man, I just went straight after the horses and killed them since I wanted the time bonus. What was your strategy for the 60 man battle royal on the ship? ;) I'll be coming up on it soon on hard and would like to get the time bonus for it but either take to much time or get pwned.

It's not $20 'cause it's good. :)

I started playing FFXII again today. I'm 21 hours in, I figured I might as well finish it.
It's not $20 'cause it's good. :)
QFT. Rented the game and I hated it not worth $10 let alone $20. Sad thing is since the PS3 doesn't have a lot of RPGS right now and you played Oblivion to death not much else to play RPG wise.

yeah, that one's tough since the guys come in at opposite sides of the room. Make sure the dragon sword is upgraded beforehand. For the soldiers in white, they only take like two hits to kill so flying swallow into them, then hack them up.
Don't get the orb, run over to the other guys who come in, flying swallow in to them, when you land, charge up to absorb the orb, then hopefully you'll kill whoever's in that corner with the UT. Leave that orb too if you can so you can keep UT'ing guys. and try to take out the rocket launcher guys quickly, they'll screw you up.

oops, just read you're doing it on hard--in that case, I think there's 70 or 80 guys. good luck with that

Makes sense :p

I think I'll take it to FYE instead of just returning it.

I just want work to finish so I can go home and play Yakuza. Everytime I mention it I feel the need to insult Sega for not bringing it to the US. They should, and they could save a lot of money by keeping the Japanese language track instead of hiring so-so hollywood voice actors.

The English was ok...except Eliza Dushku. She has one of the most annoying voices EVER. I had to mute the TV at her parts.

Good thing
her character dies at the end, so if they bring Yakuza 2 over I wont have to hear her voice

Ha ha thanks for that man. I've did it a couple of times but like I said I wanted the time bonus and with the added amount of guys it takes me a hell of a lot longer to do it. Plus the fact I get pwned more doesn't really help either. I will try your tips though since I wasn't UT'ing that often at all but the flying swallow might not be as helpful like on Normal difficulty since it doesn't seem to work as often. Although it may still allow me time to quickly start slashing away.....
Finished The Darkness last night. A+ for the story.
