I absolutely love mine! It feels similar to Sony's Dualshock, and it's not heavy at all. The batteries last a long time too (although I usually have vibration turned off). It's really nice not to have to deal with cords anymore. I highly recommend this controller.

It's awesome. I have a set of rechargable batteries and rotate them. So even though the rechargable ones don't last as long, they're still 10-20 hours each time (and it only uses two). It's the only controller I use for most games (though I think it's not quite responsive enough for GT4; I use it for all other games).

I've used it for over 40 hours and I still haven't had to change the batteries. The only problem is the pressure sensitivity for the analog buttons. They're not as accurate as the ones on the Dualshock.

An example would be trying to put away your pistol in MGS2/3. Trying to slowly release it is nearly impossible, the buttons just aren't sensitive enough. But I've had no problems with every other game.

thanks

I'm planning to order one for myself.

Wow, that is an awesome deal!

I already own one, but with this deal, I'm going to get two more.

I strongly recommend getting the controller. The battery life is great, the weight is perfect, the grip and the button layout is dead on, and there's no lag whatsoever. Believe me when I say that you'll love this controller from the first time you use it.

Now that I went cordless, I can never go back to the tangled wire PS2 controller.

Anyways, thanks again!

Beware! My Logitech Cordless Action Controller was fragile and started malfunctioning without much force applied to it after one slam onto my bed. I'd be wary about that. The dual shock can take much more abuse.

The d-pad is a little iffy (like when i tried playing Street Fighter 15th Anniversary) but otherwise it's a good controller.

I have 4 for the PS2 and 4 for the Xbox. I love them all. I have never had any problems with them and batteries seem to last forever. I do play with the vibration off most of the time though.. I normally get around 50+ hours of play.

I have seen the MG2 problems before, with a madcatz wireless. That controller also wouldn't respond to the button presses quick enough for games like Hot Shots golf. The delay was fatal. While I never tried the new Logitech with MGS2, the old wireless Logitech worked fine for me, for both Hotshots and MGS2.

I would highly recommend the Logitech wireless.

Ohh, and if you have Sams club around you, get AA batteries there. A pack of 20 energizer is around 12 to 15 dollars I think? Maybe someone else can verify. Anyway, they are way cheaper than the 5$ a four pack at other stores.

Just bought a 36-pack of Duracells at Costco. It was $11.39, or approx. $0.31/battery. They also had a 16 pack for Duracell Ultras for $7.99, but I'm not sure if those are really any better.

I heard that the receiver is too big for the slimline PS2. I guess it actually props the front of the console up a bit because it's too big. Can anyone confirm this? Otherwise I'd love one of these little diddys.

Ordered, thanks OP, I 've been looking for a replacement for the pelican/gamestop one I have since that one is too finicky.

I have the cordless action controller on my slimline PS2. In the alternate port, I have the regular dual shock. It works fine.

Also, I don't think you would have a problem with 2 receivers since there appears to be plenty of space between ports.

Perhaps you were thinking about the multi-tap which I've heard is not compatible with the slimline PS2.

Thanks for the post. I just ordered the XBox version for $31 and change shipped. I own both the new and old models of the PS2 versions and the old (large) model of the XBox version. All of them work great, only the newer, smaller version is more comfortable and much, much easier on batteries. I highly recommend the Logitech wireless controllers.

Ugh. Buy.com. I ordered one of these last time they had a deal on, and it was the worst experience ever. Just as well I've now got two of these controllers, it means I won't even be remotely tempted to use them again.

It does prop the console up *just* a little bit. It is not visable and will not bother you, though! The controller is fantastic!

What is better? This or the AirFlo wirless. Because on ebay some seller had the MaxFlo wireless buy it now for like $22 shipped.

This is the best wireless controller for PS2. The airflow one isn't nearly as nice. Another cool thing about it is it turns itself off when you turn off the PS2.
Does this work with a Playstation 2 to PC USB adapter? Anybody ever try it?
It doesn't work on mine, but mine's a generic one.

I love mine. I got it last summer and have yet to replace the batteries, though I always turn vibration off. I still have to use my dual shock to play Mad Maestro because the pressure sensitivity isn't too accurate, but I use the wireless for all other games.

WOW! Mine arrived today. That was fast for BUY.com
They used Priority Mail which helped. Now if the rest of the family would just stop using the Big Screen so I can test it out :D.
