Logitech G27 deals?

Viper0783

CAGiversary!
Is it possible that there could be a deal for this steering wheel around Black Friday?

I want to buy it now since GT5 comes out next week but dont want to spend $300. Waiting has actually hurt me so far as Amazon had it for $270 and quickly sold out. I guess the upcoming release of GT5 is bumping up the prices, but maybe it will drop later next week.

Any recommendations? Im usually not very good at finding deals.

I'm interested in finding a deal on this as well. I missed the Logitech 35% off price that put it under $200. Also, while we are at it, anyone have a deal on something to mount it on as well?

Tell me about it. I saw the deal a day after it went up and it was already dead. Talk about bad luck. About the stand though. Im not sure of any deals, but maybe what I have learned can help you out.

I bought a stand from Ebay (just look up g27 stand). Kind of cheaply made and easy to make yourself if you have the motivation. I bought it when it was $60 but wouldn't recommend it unless you dont mind wobble and cramped legs. hehe

I think a similar heavy-duty metal version of that one would be great and probably not too hard on the wallet.

I did some searching and got tired of waiting so I splurged on an Obutto gaming cockpit/desk which I heard is really good especially with all the after market options. Probably little hope for sales on it though.

There is the Playseat Evolution which is also good and is running around $300 if you don't mind the middle bar that will separate your legs. Anyways, I was thinking that there might be a deal on these next week. From what I understand one of the better, lower priced, gaming seats.

Someone mentioned on the main deals forum that Logitech may be selling this for $200 on Black Friday and that it was mentioned at NeoGaf. I didn't see anything there so is this comfirmed?
Read it that G27 is only partially supported by Gran Turismo 5 though.
Where? As far as everything I've read it is fully supported, even the rpm indicator on the wheel.

Here is where I read the Gran Turismo 5 and G27 issue,

Just something I happen to stumble upon when searching for something else related to GT5. Though I cannot vouch how accurate all these information are.

I ended up just getting the Driving Force GT for $99 (it's $112 on Amazon now) and figured it would be good enough for me. I've never played any of the GTs with the PS3 being my first Sony system so I figured from what I've read, I should enjoy the DFGT.
