If you price match at Circuit city, you get 6.50 off the price so it ends up being 33.49 + tax . (Originally 104.99 O_O WTF)

Mods feel free to move this thread as it might not be exactly a VIDEOGAME deal, but it IS video gaming related.

I have this one on my work PC and love it. I use it 7 hours a day and it is very comfy. I need one for my mac at home but don't have the spare cash to drop on it right now. Thanks for the deal anyway.

I have two of these, and got them when they were on sale for $60. I would have happily spent the full $100 on them both. I've never been happier with a mouse.

Likewise. I have one on my work Mac and one on my home PC and the ability to customize the hell out of all those wheels and buttons is fantastic. I can control play/pause, skip/seek, volume up/down/mute in iTunes or WMP, show desktop, expose, etc., without moving the mouse. Plus, the microgear scroll wheel is the only way I can scroll now. With dual 30'' monitors at work, it's helpful with long pages or pdfs.

If you haven't used this mouse, at least test it out at best buy or whatever before you dismiss it, keeping in mind you can control everything about how it works.

Tried the Circuit City price match and the guy completely shot me down due to bestbuy.com showing it as out of stock and of course calling the store to confirm would require too much energy. Can't believe that clown was a manager. Just went to best buy and picked it up. I love it, really makes my old microsoft laser mouse feel like a piece of junk

This is a great mouse, I picked it up off of amazon for like $50 a while back.

It works flawlessly and the program it comes with is perfect and you can specialize the buttons per program, its great. Its not 'fat' by any means and it fits one's hand perfectly. The wireless works great and I don't understand why someone would not pick this up at this great price.

Took the last one from my CC, no problems in the pricematch.

The one annoying thing about this mouse is that it has a separate charger and AC adapter, not batteries or USB charging. What's the point? I prefer batteries in my mouse, they last for so long anyway.
i'm considering maybe picking this up

any long time users have it die on them yet?
do you have to worry about over charging it?
I've been using mine for about two years now, and not once has it died on me. Then again, I've charged it daily, so take it as you will. The SetPoint program that comes with the mouse does a pretty good job of estimating how much battery power the mouse has remaining.

I ended up buying another one just in case, as this one is irregularly double-clicking when all I'm trying to do is single click or drag and drop. It's pretty minor and happens infrequently...but I figured it's better to pay $40 for a backup than $100. :p

I used this for a while after getting it last BF for ~$7 AR, but since I tried the MS Natural Laser Mouse 6000 I haven't been sufficiently motivated to swtich back. The MX Revo wins on features, but the 6000 (aka the "baseball") is ergonomically better for me. I think the MX1000 was the best combo of features/comfort, but I guess Logitech had to do something different for the sake of change.

I have 2 of these, one just recently crapped out on me (had it for almost 2 years I think) so i might just have to pick this up. It conforms to my hand perfectly, and is extraordinarily comfortable. Be aware of dusty environments, I've had problems charging the mouse if the charger got dust in hard to clean places. Some people have problems charging it after some months after purchase, but you can get a new mouse/charger set by contacting logitech easily.

I picked up another two of these, having had one disappear at work and one I already bought from Amazon reconditioned for $60. I need these for multiple work sites. I like the free spinning mouse wheel. It's a nice unit. Although my soul was sapped by the trip to Best Buy. Never going back.

just purchased one yesterday,

I'm liking it so far, just wanted to know is the battery supposed to drain this fast?
I charge it to 100% and after about 24 hours (1/2 in use or 1/2 either in standby or i turned it off), it is now 75% battery

The logitech setpoint program estimates 10 days before it dies, does that mean standby time?

also love the quick scroll and extra buttons on the side, very nice, clean design

At least in my experience the battery appears to drain faster then it does. I charge mine not even once a week and I'm on the computer at least eight hours a day most of it gaming. Only real problem with the mouse is that it's stupidly annoying to try and configure things that should be basic. Take using the middle mouse click to close tabs, open links, things like that which every other mouse takes for granted. Have to fiddle with the config a bit to get it to do that without losing the smart scroll thing on the wheel. Also haven't been able to figure out how to use the thumb buttons for vent or voice chat. There's some good third party drivers/configs that really let you tweak that stuff to your liking but you have to go and set it all up. Great mouse though, had it since November and loving it.

Would this be in store too, damn if I can control iTunes with my fucking mouse I am in, but I am not buying off Best Buy.com since I am not paying shipping or waiting for it to ship (head back to school in a week).

This was sold out online for me, so I picked it up in store, and they have displays so you can get a feel for the mouse before you buy it

this is the 1st time I paid this much for a mouse, but being rechargeable is worth it in batteries alone
i will still keep my other wireless logitech mouse in case it's charging and i don't have a mouse

I'm not so sure it's worth this much for a mouse, but this is probably the cheapest price for a wireless/rechargable laser mouse.
I use it for basics, surfing internet, etc. I don't use a computer to game so I can't give feedback for that.
Returned mine today.

This is one POS mouse. The glowing reviews are outrageous.
What do you not like about it?
