I thought it was pretty crazy. I've never even so much as put a skin on a console, now people are doing some crazy stuff.

It reminds me of the Metroid Wii that some machinist made, it looked sick. This is still cool though, a laptop 360, craziness.

Check out the vid too! Lots of time on their hands I suppose. Whatever, I spend more time playing my 360 than this guy did on modding it; I just don't get how people would prefer to play with it than actually play it.

That is insane dude. Completely insane. Some people are so fucking talented lol...I'm jealous. I love looking at console and PC mods...there are some very creative people out there.

Thats really cool looking, however, there isn't that much benefit to building one. It costs at least a 1000 dollars to make, but you still need a plug to play it, and I prefer playing on a large TV anyway.

It wouldn't surprise me if he could fix it.

easily fixable with x clamp, and to someone like him it is very simple

Well you're also comparing a probably 3-4,000 dollar laptop to the 350 dollar xbox. I've seen one of his laptops, I think this is a newer version, looks pretty sick. Wonder what the battery life for this thing is lol.
It doesn't have a battery, it has to be plugged in.
Wow then kiss portability good bye.

I can't see the point in making a laptop that isn't portable. Sure, it may be a one stop shop for the 360, but as some people have already said, I prefer a big TV for my console gaming. I would feel incredible claustrophobic to be playing on that screen with a joypad in my hands in a cramped position hovering over the keyboard. Not his best idea, but it definitely IS an excellent example of what can be done.

The battery complaint is just worthless nitpicking, imho. It's still portable just not "on the go" portable. Even if it did run on batteries you'd get like a half hour of run time.

If wanna nitpick something useful, ask him to make one with the HD-DVD drive too.

You could always get a converter and then be able to play it in the car, or even in hotel rooms and that sort of thing.

Throw in the wireless adapter and then play over LIVE while in your hotel.

Well than don't call it a laptop, it's a desktop really. Laptop sounds like you can take this thing with you wherever you go and play at the same time.

You can as long as you have some where to plug it in :booty:

My battery in my laptop is completely dead, it works for about 5 minutes unplugged. Does this mean my Apple Powerbook has now become a desktop computer, but remains a laptop for 5 minute intervals?
