Looking for a 27 or 32 inch LCD TV
I'd like to spend around $300, not sure if that's unreasonable for the size TV I'm looking for.
That's a reasonable price. I got my 32 inch Toshiba for around 350, so I am sure you can at least find a 27 inch for around that price range. You just have to do some digging and check all the major retailers and their websites.

Not much help, I know, but searching and digging around will be the easiest option. Hope I helped!
www.woot.com has a 26" toshiba with built in dvd player for $285 shipped. The TV seemed to get pretty good reviews on amazon, which has it for $356
not a bad deal, might just get this if I don't find a better deal

What do you guys think of this tv here?

I texted him and he told me the model number is: ln328360

I did a google search and couldn't find any reviews of the TV though.

What all will you possibly be hooking up to the TV? If you know what you'll be hooking up to it (and how), you can figure out what inputs you need.

This is the TV that I bought my parents. I got it for $289.99, and definitely think it's worth it.

Here's a 26" TV from Amazon. I don't really know much about the brand, but it does have a 2 year warranty.

Another one I know is that Best Buy has their Dynex brand 26" TV for $199 this week (ends tonight though, so you likely missed it- sorry). I was recently comparing picture quality in a bunch of TVs they had in stock, and had to say that the 19" Dynex on display looked almost as good as the 19" Samsung next to it (that was also $80 more, almost 50%).
I didn't really have anything to compare the 26" Dynex side by side with, but it didn't look bad (and by bad, I mean that the Coby 15" TV they had was just bad- yellows almost looked green, and the iceberg that looked pristine on the Samsung looked a bit blurry and much more gray than the blueish white it was).
Here's the link to the 26" Dynex: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Dynex&#...HDTV/9559881.p?id=1218124204321&skuId=9559881

Here's a 26" Toshiba. Don't really know much about it.

Just a small piece of advice: Price does matter a lot of the time. Samsung, LG, Sony, Toshiba, are all more expensive than Coby, Emerson, Sylvania, Viore for a reason. That said, the $290 Vizio I bought my parents looks stellar. It's low on price, but not quality.

I also would always suggest that, if possible, you should go to a local electronics store and try to compare different models side by side before choosing. You could fall in love with a model, or one hat you thought was great might really end up looking like crap.
