bought one about a month ago from bestbuy for $100, i was looking around for a better deal but didn't have time to, i recently moved and needed to set up my living room asap. anyways, the one i bought from bestbuy did come with a remote, its the exact model everyone has praised + a credit card sized remote.

Why not just buy an automatic one.
I have this one and have had no problems with it and it's automatic. Being automatic you don't even have to hit anything but the power button on a console.

I'm guessing becuase that one only has RCA inputs. The Pelican unit has enough inputs to make your pants tight.

Oh, I thought you were just looking for any a/v selector. That one I showed you also has S-video. I assume you want component video. Do not blame you.
