Hey guys I'm having trouble finding anything of this sort on amazon or on google, partly because I'm not sure what to search for. The books I'm looking for have like a listing of state alphabetically then list all the colleges in each state and there acceptance rate and tuition and studies and all the other basic info. Anyone know a good brand of these or have a link to one of them?

I got one last night actually, Barron's Profiles of American Colleges 2005-2006 edition. Thanks for the help though.

I'm pretty sure the last thing anyone from MN wants to do is go to Alabama. Or maybe that's just me...

Yeah, i would hate to go some place where it is warm, the people are nice, and there are good looking girls. I HATE PLACES LIKE THAT!

Alabama is the greatest state in the union IMO. well, certain parts anyway :D

I don't think Alabama is on anyone's short list of where to go to college to find hot chicks and bask in the warm weather... If that's what I was looking for, there are plenty of schools in Florida, California and Hawaii that would do nicely...

For about two years I was really into the college thing. Those books are pretty expensive. A good site is www.collegeboard.com, it has admissions statistics and average SAT scores. It also has a search feature to find a school by a major. Deciding what colleges to want to apply to can be hard but you don't need those damned books!

And check out McGill!
