Looking for a futon

I'm searching for a futon for my place, and haven't been able to find much of a deal on one. I want something sturdy, though the mattress isn't too big an issue as frankly, I'm not picky at all, and actually prefer a pretty firm (what most would call uncomfortable) sleeping area. Any suggestions?

i highly suggest getting a 8-10" thick mattress. you'll still have to fluff it up every once in awhile but get anything thinner and you'll sleep crappy on it.

second craigslist. also, if you have an ikea in the area, try that. or do both: look for an ikea futon on craigslist. you'll likely be able to get one 50% off an already cheap price. check on fridays, that's when most people post their furniture on craigslist.
