Looking for a great vacuum/handvac

I seem to get A LOT of dust in my room, anyone have experience with a great vacuum that doesn't shoot dust out when you're finished? I was looking at the Dyson handheld, but reviews claim it only works in spurts of 5 min.

I need something that's comfortable to use in small corners, if it can get behind my desktop/tv even better. I plan on using this for one room only, and in my car.

I know it's an odd request, but any advice would be appreciated.

i own the dyson hand vac, and it works great in the car, i have nothing bad to say about it. it last longer than five minutes.

If you have floor vents (registers) they're the cause of most dust. Get some filters at the hardware store for them.

As far as vacuums I can't help on that, but I have the dust problem as well. The floor vent filters have helped.
